Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Flange Part Marker - 1st Shift to join our team in Beltsville, MD!

This is a 1st shift position with core hours of 7 am - 3 pm.

The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.

What you'll do:

The Flange Part Maker / Part Finishing is responsible for polishing and part marking to ensure a quality part meets customer expectation in a timely manner. This includes but is not limited to correctly marking parts to the PMI using all applicable specifications and procedures required.

In this role, you will:

• Ensure Parts are correctly marked in a timely manner and applicable specifications
• Use laser marker, electro-etch, and dot marker
• Hand mark aluminum parts.
• Operate measurement devices, labeling, Oven/Sealing machines
• Polish parts to meet customer drawings
• Participate in lean and 5S+ activities, as required.
• Perform basic MFG-Pro transactions to print PMI and receive products to stock.
• Perform all other related duties

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required in manufacturing.

Skills:

• Detail oriented, dependable, and self motivated.
• Basic computer skills
• Must be comfortable in a mechanical machining environment
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Must be able to follow written instructions and interpret dimension drawings
• Must be able to use Lean manufacturing tools
• Must be able to keep area clean and orderly.
• Ability to train other employees.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis, sit, stand, reach, bend, and crouch with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Manual dexterity required
• Vision acuity including color
• Wear proper PPE
