Eaton's IS VEH VGNA division is currently seeking a Finance Supervisor.

What you'll do:

Basic function:
The Plant Finance Supervisor serves as a Finance business partner to the Plant Finance Manager and Leadership Team, providing timely and accurate financial data and analysis to enhance financial decisions and using continuous improvement framework to contribute on plant financial targets. This position is also responsible for the day-to-day Finance Operations activities like costing, budgeting, financial planning and analysis for Automotive business unit.

Main responsibilities and authority:

• This position is responsible for the day-to-day Finance Operations activities like costing, budgeting, financial planning and analysis.

  • Preparation and analysis of weekly payroll projections, including participation in forecast and annual Profit Plan processes.

• Coordinate and perform variance analysis of forecast, WOR, month end closing and Profit Plant.
• Provide advice on key business and finance decisions around day-to-day business activities at the plant to the Plant Finance Manager or Leadership.
• Drive the productivity and efficiency of the plant thought analytical insights and provide actionable solutions to performance gaps.
• Identify and communicate any R&O to the Plant Finance Manager and Leadership.
• Acts as the Finance business partner to Operations, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to deliver products safely, efficiently and effectively.
• Costing activities supervision like burden rates calculations, annual cost roll up and physical inventory
• Costing support for new products like cost models and fix the tail analysis
• Measures performance against goals using proactively seeks of opportunities.
• Identifies finance processes opportunity to enhance efficiency using CI tools. Focus on Oracle ERP transactions due Swissco process and Interface errors
• Provide timely financial reports and ensure compliance with plant and division due dates according with the calendar.
• Contribute to the development of CI strategic initiatives and business case elements related to cost, quality, and KPIs.
• Build organization capability focusing on talent attraction, development and retention, an inclusive work environment. Focus on succession planning process.
• Drive financial integrity and SOX compliance according to Eaton's Ethics and Values. Solve financial issues by applying knowledge of GAAP and Eaton policies
• Provide timely financial reports and ensure compliance with plant and division due dates according with the calendar
• Uses digital technology and processes for creative problem solving, and to improve speed and effectiveness.
• Support EBS Pull events; Lead the development and implementation of effective training plans for all levels of the organization that support a continuous improvement culture, deployment and utilization of Eaton Business System policies and processes, such as ELSS. CIF, PRO-Launch, IATF/ EQS and others as applicable.
• Perform activities according to the Quality and Environmental politics established by the business (See Quality Management System Responsibilities).
• Promote and apply the continual improvement initiatives of the company as well as looking for opportunities to improve, particularly in our own area of responsibility. Responsible for actively participating in all Continuous Improvement activities in area of responsibility by effectively utilizing EBS processes and tools, such as ELSS. CIF, PRO-Launch, IATF EQS and others as applicable

Qualifications:

Education level required:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related fields.

Years and area of experience required:

• At least 4 to 5 experience years in Operations Finance in a Manufacturing plant.

Technical competencies:

• Strong Knowledge of Costing and Swissco process
• Planning and Forecasting
• Manufacturing Productivity and efficiency
• Cost Management
• Experience with Oracle ERP and financial. Strong excel skills. Oracle Planning and Power BI (preferred)

ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEM RESPONSABILITY
• Separate dangerous residues from the normal trash
• Place the dangerous residues (gloves, cloths, etc.) in the assigned containers.
• Maintain area clean and free of contaminants.
• Not a waste of water or electricity.
• Report any activity that can put in risk my safety and environment.
• Identify and give adequate disposition to all chemical products which can contaminate the environment.
• Acting immediately in chemists' discharge case.
• Ensure the rights containers for disposition of dangerous residues (identifying containers and containers to prevent discharge)
