What you'll do:
The Finance Business Partner - EIIC (Electrical Division) provides end-to-end financial support to Electrical Business group and program portfolios executed at the Eaton India Innovation Center (EIIC). The role serves as a key liaison between Electrical business stakeholders, EIIC engineering teams, and central finance, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate forecasting, cost control, and timely billing for Electrical programs and initiatives.
- Financial Planning & Forecasting - Own annual Profit Plan (PP), quarterly forecasts, and outlook cycles for Electrical business.Partner with Electrical business and EIIC stakeholders to align headcount, OpEx, and project spend with approved plans.
-Cost Management & Governance - Monitor and control OpEx, travel, flex cost, temporary staffing, and project expenses in line with Business targets.
-Project & Program Financial Support -Provide financial support for Electrical NPI, NTI, and strategic programs executed through EIIC.
-Billing, Invoicing & Timesheet Governance - Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing for Electrical programs, including validation of rates, hours, and charge codes.

-Reporting & Stakeholder Communication -Prepare and present financial dashboards, management reports, and ad-hoc analysis for Electrical leadership and EIIC finance reviews.
-Process Improvement & Digitization -Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, automation, and data accuracy (e.g., dashboards, analytics).
- Support in Central finance activities
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) / CA Inter / Cost Accountant (CMA) / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
5-8+ years of experience in Finance Business Partnering, Project Accounting, or FP&A, preferably in an engineering, R&D, or shared services environment.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools, Power apps, Power BI, AI, other automation tools
Experience with ERP / planning systems (e.g., Oracle) and timesheet tools (e.g., Tenrox).
Ability to analyze large datasets and convert them into meaningful insights.
Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions in a matrix environment. High attention to detail, with proven ability to prioritise and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
