Field Product Marketing Manager - Iberia

The Field Product Marketing Manager oversees the product lifecycle for Eaton's Critical Power Solutions portfolio in Spain and Portugal, which includes Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) solutions and related products. Our wide variety of customers range from distributed IT solutions to large commercial data centers, primarily sold through Eaton's channel partner network.

You will play a key role in driving commercial success by collaborating closely with local sales teams, business unit product managers, customers, and partners. You will lead Voice of Customer initiatives and capture regulatory changes and competitor insights to make aligned product portfolio decisions and help shape effective marketing strategies and activities in partnership with MarCom and Sales. As the spokesperson for the product portfolio, you will drive market introductions for new products and services, ensuring successful launches, and strong market positioning. The position is part of the EMEA Field Product Marketing organization.

What you'll do:

  • Product Life Cycle Management: Manage the entire product life cycle in the local market, including market gap analysis, product fit, pricing strategy, margin control, service offers, and ERP price list updates.
  • New Product Development & Launches: Contribute to customer requirements for new products, coordinate Business Target Agreements, and own new product launches and end-of-life processes, including forecasts and financial expectations.
  • Local Sales Strategy Support: Provide input into local sales strategy and collaborate with sales leadership to develop and execute action plans for growth, targeting customers, channels, and markets.
  • Market & Competitive Insights: Collect Voice of Customer (VoC) and regulatory insights, run VoC campaigns, and deliver competitive analysis on product ranges, pricing, and market intelligence.
  • Marketing Campaign Localization: Support global marketing teams with local insights for buyer personas and journey maps, and adapt segment campaigns for local relevance.
  • Sales & Partner Enablement: Ensure relevant sales enablement materials are localized, deliver value-based sales training to commercial teams, and provide technical training to partners and customers.
  • Certification & Standards Compliance: Coordinate product certification with local authorities and represent the company in standards committees and norm groups related to focus products.
  • Strategy Development Contribution: Provide product-focused insights for local segment strategy workshops (Playing to Win) and contribute to strategic planning.
  • Brand Awareness & Representation: Act as the local spokesperson for the product portfolio during events and PR opportunities, ensuring strong brand presence.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Line Managers, Business Development, Sales, Demand Generation, Channel Marketing, Content teams, and Service teams to ensure alignment and execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in technical studies or/and marketing;
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing;
  • Proven track record working for a technical or industrial company.
