Facilities Technician
Eaton's IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a Facilities Technician.
What you'll do:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Carry out the activities required by PM's and TPM's to keep maintenance equipment 100% reliable and avoid operational stoppages, equipment improvements based on experience, complying with safety, quality, continuous improvement and the standards required by Eaton. If the technician's area of experience is in refrigeration, he will focus on Air conditioning units, or in the case of electrical, he will focus on electrical installations and substations.
• Comply with routines, tours on a daily basis (Monitor teams, have activity review meetings, 1:1, project execution review, etc.).
• Use activity time and overtime effectively for projects and stay on budget
• Improve the efficiency and cost of scheduled maintenance by acquiring new techniques or equipment
• Perform reactive or corrective maintenance activities
• Ensure and comply with MOC process
• Apply and document lessons learned
• Support and develop a succession plan for next levels
• Comply with IATF, ISO, Mexican regulations and Eaton policies
• Actively participate in the fire brigade
• Follow and enforce EHS rules
Qualifications:
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE
• Technical career or certification (Mechanical, Industrial or electrical).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical area
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a plant maintenance technician.
• Self-supervision or no supervision required to obtain results
• Computer knowledge, maintenance practices, high voltage and compressors.
• Technical Problem solving
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance
• Knowledge of basic construction and painting activities.
