Facilities Supervisor

Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Facilities Supervisor.

What you'll do:

Primary Functions:

The Facilities/Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading all maintenance and facility operations across a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role ensures reliability of production-critical equipment, oversees plant utilities, manages building systems, coordinates contractors, and maintains compliance with Eaton MESH requirements. The Supervisor manages a team of hourly technicians supporting daily operations, preventive/predictive maintenance, energy initiatives, and infrastructure reliability.

Essential Functions:

• Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) administration including Preventive Maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Manager all priorities to ensure needed support for manufacturing activities
• Directs supervisor for the maintenance of all manufacturing equipment buildings
• Control of all maintenance / utility's expenses
• Coordinate with Engineering / Manufacturing departments the installation of new equipment or production lines
• Coordinate with outside contractors to carry out specific maintenance and repair assignments
• Supervise maintenance activities for buildings and facilities, building painting, landscaping, small repairs and utilities maintenance
• Ensure proper function of Tool Crib machine spare parts
• Vendor/contractor coordination
• Troubleshooting in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Compliance with Eaton environmental, safety, accessibility, and MESH standards

• Knowledge of OSHA and local regulations
• Oversee plant utilities including compressed air, chilled water, boilers, and power distribution.
• Manage Preventive and Predictive Maintenance schedules and track reliability metrics.
• Execute MESH and EBS processes
• Lead continuous improvement events
• Support ProLaunch for new installations
• Manage capital and facility upgrade projects
• Supervise and develop maintenance technicians
• Provides the necessary tools and equipment to employes and ensure they are maintained.
• Evaluates employees' performance
• Identifies and facilitates training opportunities
• Assures the company policies are met based on Eaton's Leadership Model, Aspirational Goals and Ethics Code Compliance
• Must be a proactive, dynamic, high energy, results-focused individual with strong leadership skills.
• Digital Mindset is required

Qualifications:

Specialized Knowledge:

Education:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or current enrollment with expected graduation. Preferred: Engineering, Industrial Technology, Mechanical / Electrical fields.

Experience:
• Minimum 5 years in maintenance, engineering, facilities or industrial operations
• Experience supervising hourly maintenance personnel.
• Demonstrated capability in managing facility subsystems

Preferred Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills. Communicate well both verbally and writing in English
• Strong Leadership and Managerial skills
• Experience with Puerto Rico industrial Electrical systems
• Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Problem-Solving Skills. Digital Mindset.
• Anticipates plant needs.

• Use digital tools and data to optimize maintenance operations
• Ethical, passionate, accountable, efficient and transparent.
