Facilities Manager
Eaton's Electrical Sector is currently seeking a Facilities Manager to join our team. This position is based at our Richmond, VA location. Relocation assistance will be provided within the US.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $143,000 a year.

This role leads the planning, development, and operational readiness of manufacturing facilities, ensuring all building systems meet Eaton's safety, compliance, and performance standards. The incumbent must have strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility infrastructure systems and be able to partner effectively with developers, contractors, and engineers. They must exercise sound judgment on construction deviations, facility issues, and compliance risks, recommending solutions that protect the integrity and efficiency of the site.

What you'll do:
- Lead and develop assigned facilities team including extended contracted team members.
- Implement Eaton standards and requirements in current and future facilities.
- Have responsibility for mentoring and recruiting highly skilled facilities talent.
- Manage all facilities and maintenance activities within the department including but not limited to procurement of equipment, preventative maintenance scheduling and planning, space planning, layout changes, and facility flow improvements.
- Work with external developers/GC to ensure the building meets Eaton EHS standards and requirements (bathrooms, entrances/exits, aisleways, racking, guarding, dock equipment, BAS, fire alarm, electrical infrastructure, roof guarding, etc.).
- Provide project updates and ensure Eaton guidelines are implemented on schedule to reduce risk, delays, and cost overruns.
- Review and ensure alignment with project specifications, such as: Project Outline Specifications, Basis of Design, and Eaton Design Guidelines.
- Track project budgets and ensure completion to budget (especially for new facility projects)
- Develop standards, procedures, and training as necessary and effectively communicate plans and changes to all levels of the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.

Basic (Required) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in operations, engineering, construction, facilities/maintenance or another related field

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline from an accredited institution
- Experience with constructions standards and building code.
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Experience working with Local and State officials to obtain permits
- Experience working with sub-contractors
