Engineer Quality Program Management
What you'll do:
Priniciple role of Engineer - QPM will be
1) Lead the SDQ activities in Global resiliency projects aligning to Prolaunch or ESSP approach.
2) Will be responsible for ontime & effective completion of quality deliverables working crossfunctionaly with Global Program Management, Suppliers, Plant Quality,
Engineering, Commodity Managers, Global sourcing, Procurement Engineering, Purchase. Thus achieving quality deliverables for customers and meeting business goals
3) Drive APQP approach across projects handled by QPM team.
4) Utilize the various commodity knowledge to ensure fixing of quality issues with suppliers during project execution and ensure the safe launch of the project.
5) Should have strong Functional, Manufacturing process & Product knowledge Also Should have experience on project execution and gate clearance activities1. Drive Global resourcing projects for Quality deliverables, ensuring efficient and effective completion.

2. Work to bring in strong synergy with gobal Sourcing team, Categary Management and Enginiring organizations to achieve Supplier Quality goals in Cost out, and supplier
performance
3. Influence the supplier selection process with strong analytics.
4. Take proactive measures to build supplier capability interms of meeting Eaton Quality Requirement for Sourcing projects.
5. Proactive risk identification and mitigation for lowering the project level risk.
6. Align and meet the SQD KPI metrics for projects being handled.
7. Tracking of project status and establish communication media for progress communication and support requirement with stakeholders and business leaders.
8. Develop a strong communication system with stakeholders , SDE/SQE leaders for effective execution of the process.
9. Proactive communication with leaders of plant quality , supplier quality & project lead/category manager for projects execution readiness, escalation management.
10. Ensure the compliance of QMS activities and ensure 100% adherance to set procedures.
11. Generate the ideas to improve the efficiency of the process and take out maximum output.
12. Drive small improvement projects within the team
Qualifications:
BE in (Electrical , Electronics, Mechanical , Production & Industrial Engineering)
Minimum 8~10 years of experience in, Manufacturing / or Process Engineering and ,APQP ,program management, Supplier Development and Quality
Min 4 years of experience in handling New projects , Supplier planning and/or Program management., Resourcing projects.
Skills:
Experience working globally.
PMP & Scrum Master certification will be preferredAPQP, Program Management ,Standard Sourcing, Prolaunch ,Agile Methodology,
PPAP , DMR , Supplier Development , Supplier Auditing Problem solving. Working
knowledge of statistical tools including SPC, Gauge R&R and capability analysis.
Knowledge of Manufacturing process like Machining, Casting, Sheet Metal, Electrical &
Electronics components & Rubber .
Internal Auditor certification.
