Our EMEA Business Service Center (BSC) in Budapest is Eaton's largest office in the region. What you'll do:

We are seeking a proactive Payables Operations Manager to support our Regional Accounts Payable Manger in overseeing AP delivery of our large scale, multinational operations. In this role, you will sit in the centre of our financial ecosystem. You will serve as the strategic bridge between our internal stakeholders and our third party vendor who manages day to day transationcal activities. Your primary mission is to ensure operational excellence, guarantee on-time vendor payments, and heavily mitigate financial risk.

  • Vendor Governance: Direct the third party BPO vendor to ensure precise delivery of all transactional AP activities.
  • Escalation Reduction: Identify root causes of current payment bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions to drastically minimise future escalations
  • Risk Managment: Protect the business against service disruptions and financial penalties through rigorous process oversight and timely payment execution.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Ensure clear communication and seemless alignment on payables KPI's and Metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bacheloers Degree, or equivalent, in Accounting, Finance. Knowledge of Supply Chain process is a plus.
  • 5-10 years of varied accounting, information systems, finance or shared services experience, demonstrated experience of working with third party providors in Shared Service Centre envrionments.
  • Proven track record in operational stabilisation, issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination in a complex, multi-country environment.
  • Strong MS office skills, project management tools and Power BI are plus.
  • Oracle and SAP Financial systems experience.
  • Strong operational judgement and execution discipline.
  • Strategic thinking and critical thinking with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across global teams without formal authority.
  • Familiarity with shared services and global process ownership models.
  • Data-literate; able to interpret operational metrics and risk indicators
  • Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly, and align stakeholders toward a shared goal.
  • Professional level of English, other EU languages are welcomed.
  • Able to live, work and travel within EU zone without restrictions.
