Electro-Mechanical Assembler B (Chip Detectors)

Eaton's IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Electro-Mechanical Assembler B (Chip Detectors) to join our team in Glenolden, PA!

The hours for this role are 6:30am-3:00pm

The hourly rate for this position is $22.00 per hour.

What you'll do:

The Assembler will assemble and/or test components using tools and fixtures and working from manufacturing documentation.

In this role, you will:

• Follow work orders, engineering drawings, and visual/written work instructions to assemble electro-mechanical components.
• Uses machines or hand tools to crimp, stake, bolt rivet, solder, cement, press fit or perform similar operations to secure parts in place.
• Mount electrical components such as transformers, resistors, capacitors, integrate circuits, etc.
• Makes a variety of electrical connections using soldering or related bonding procedures.
• Uses equipment such as multimeters and dielectric machines to in-process test parts during assembly.
• Assist in resolving production failures or product issues.
• Identify and initiate continuous improvement for product safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Work in a team environment for flow assembly work.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED from accredited institution
• Minimum six (6) months of experience in mechanical or electrical assemblies

Preferred Quaifications:

• Technical School / Apprenticeship preferred
• Minimum six months blueprint reading
• Minimum six months soldering experience

• Measuring with basic instruments as required by manager
• Follows verbal and written instructions
• Bringing up issues as needed as required by Manager
