Electrical Site Manager MV/HV - Data Center
Location:
Sweden - Gavle (construction site for Data Centers)
Traveling: 50% in EMEA region, rotating possibility between the countries

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing Eaton's on-site operations from site preparation through construction, testing, and commissioning. You will represent Eaton and the Project Manager on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery of all activities.
What you'll do:
- Lead Eaton's on-site activities across preparation, construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Represent Eaton and the Project Manager in all planning, coordination, and safety meetings on site.
- Ensure strict EHS compliance through toolbox talks, daily risk assessments, and continuous safety leadership.
- Coordinate daily work of Eaton teams and third-party suppliers to ensure smooth and safe execution.
- Identify resource gaps, risks, and constraints, collaborating with the Project Manager to maintain schedule and quality.
- Provide clear written daily updates on progress, challenges, and upcoming work.
- Review and audit testing, commissioning documentation, and technical practices.
- Work on a rotation schedule for distant EMEA sites: 6 weeks on site / 1 week home.
Qualifications:
- Strong electrical background, ideally supported by electrician training or project-based experience.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in installation & commissioning of HV/MV power distribution projects.
- Experience managing electrical works on medium- to large-scale construction sites.
- Familiarity with testing, commissioning, and quality requirements for electrical installations.
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders on site.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols for HV/MV environments.
- Experience representing project teams or customers on complex technical projects.
- Willingness to work in a rotation schedule across EMEA.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of HV/MV systems: switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and safety procedures.
- Solid experience with Health & Safety and Quality Management in construction environments.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and cabling documentation.
- Experience in field service, electrical installation, and commissioning work.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to manage relationships professionally.
- Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage for long-duration assignments.
