Eaton's Mobility Group is looking for an EHS Manager (RSPP) to join our Bosconero Valves Plant (Turin).

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that our people and our site operate in asafe, healthy, and well-controlled environment, fully aligned with local and regional Environmental, Health & Safety regulations. You will lead, develop, and drive continuous improvements within the MESH framework, fostering a proactive safety culture across the plant.

You will also be responsible for managing the Prevention and Protection Service (RSPP) in accordance with Italian legislation, acting as a trusted partner to employees and leaders to create a workplace where safety and wellbeing come first.

What you'll do:

  • Champion a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and internal standards.
  • Drive ISO14001 and MESH compliance, coordinating a strong management system that anticipates, identifies, and resolves EHS risks through analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Lead risk assessment activities and maintain the DVR (Risk Assessment Document) in line with regulations and current practices.
  • Plan, deliver, and track EHS training, ensuring our teams have the knowledge and skills they need to work safely.
  • Manage hazardous materials and PPE, ensuring proper control, availability, and safe handling across the site.
  • Oversee waste management processes, making sure they meet legal and corporate requirements.
  • Coordinate preventive and periodic inspections of the workplace and equipment-and take decisive action, including stopping production if necessary, to protect employees.
  • Monitor and audit all EHS processes, conduct accident investigations, implement corrective actions, and lead 8D problem-solving activities.
  • Track and report key EHS metrics to ensure transparency, alignment, and data-driven decision making.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness, developing instructions and delivering training for fire evacuation and other critical scenarios in line with MESH and local laws.
  • Collaborate with occupational health services and the company doctor to promote well-being and workplace health.
  • Represent the company with local authorities on all EHS matters, fostering productive relationships and facilitating information exchange.
  • Secure all right-to-operate permits, proactively monitoring renewals, adapting procedures to new regulations, and applying for new permits when required.
  • Manage the EHS budget and contribute to shaping the site's EHS strategy, partnering with Plant Management to drive a culture of safety and sustainability.

Qualifications:

  • Master Degree in EHS matters or Engineering (e.g. Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial) or equivalent school background
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS roles within multinational or manufacturing environments.

Skills:

  • RSPP certification according to Italian legislation.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes and manufacturing environments.
  • Solid understanding of Italian safety and environmental laws (D.Lgs. 81/08 and D.Lgs. 152/06).
  • Fluent English and Italian; additional European languages are a plus

We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.
