Division OPEX / Quality Manager

Eaton Filtration is seeking a Division Operational Excellence - Quality Manager. This pivotal role leads the Quality and Continuous Improvement (CI) functions globally, driving excellence across all manufacturing and non-manufacturing locations. As the champion of Eaton's standard processes, you will develop and deploy strategies that elevate product quality, optimize operational performance, and embed Lean Manufacturing principles. What you'll do:
- Provide Quality & CI Leadership across the division to drive collaborative strategies and solutions to ensure active leadership from management and ownership by all employees.
- Champion the Quality Management System / EQMS / within Filtration. Identify and lead prevention-based initiatives to address common barriers for division & the plants and enable sustainable improvements. Oversees effectiveness of internal & external QMS/EQMS assessments, including support of OpA & EBSE through the identification of associated Operational & site Quality management action plans. •
- Partner with the business, plants and functional leadership teams to develop plans and facilitate EBS-Pull process deployment to meet Eaton standard processes and business goals by leading the development and implementation of the Eaton Business System (EBS) at the sites. This includes setting the strategy, defining actions, and leading cross-functional activities (coordinating with other internal Eaton tools and processes such as ECIS, EBE, MESH) Sponsor and facilitate CI events at the sites including Integrated Deck Building (IDB) workshops
- Coordinate Operational strategies & deployment for effective quality processes and tools, including CI, Six Sigma, APQP planning, PFMEA, Control Plans, Supplier Management, PPAP, Process Capability, Risk Assessment, Root Cause investigations, 8D, CAR/ DMR, and WISPER.
- Drive key quality metrics including Quality cost-of-non-conformance , Supplier and Customer DPPM, Customer Escapes, Manufacturing Yields, OEE, Cost-out realization, utilize appropriate benchmarking and comparative data to drive continuous performance improvement and speed of response.
- Provide functional leadership to Plant Operations & Quality/ CI management to improve performance, including the identification and standardization of best practices.
- Builds organizational capability by supporting leading training strategies to build Quality and CI competencies consistent with functional excellence tool set. Performs competency gap assessment and provides input to development plans for direct and functional reports.
- Supports division facilities as a central point of contact for all customer-related processes
- Establish effective warranty policies, tracking, analytics and reporting so to drive product line level improvements, contributing to Productivity goals. Manage customer loss & legal claims.
- Drive internal & external Supplier Quality Development: Expand & deploy processes, targeting critical commodities and Focus Suppliers to significantly reduce supplier defects by improving capabilities, including offshore & direct source suppliers. • Lead the BCM (Business Continuous Management) activities to ensure the operational units operate with minimal disruption in the event of a disruptive occurrence. •
- Represent the division on Eaton CI/Opex/Quality steering committees, councils or task forces and Sponsor and facilitate CI events at the sites including Integrated Deck Building workshops

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 10 years of experience in quality, continuous improvement, manufacturing or engineering
Skills:
- Ability to demonstrate proven experience in process development, implementation and sustainability
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written
- Ability to lead effectively in a matrix organization, in virtual teams (across different locations), and cross-cultural environments
- Ability to effectively interact with others, establishing open, candid, and trusting relationships
- Ability to influence others through utilization of leadership skills
- Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking, including seeing the big picture and motivating others towards common goals
- Ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills and understanding of problem-solving tools/methods (Six Sigma, 8D, A3, Ishikawa), goal setting, and performance tracking
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
