Director of IT and Digital Transformation- Golf Pride

Golf Pride®, the #1 golf grip brand worldwide, is seeking a Director of IT & Digital Transformation to shape and lead the company's enterprise technology strategy. This role is responsible for enabling business growth, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making through a scalable, integrated, and secure technology ecosystem.
Reporting directly to the President and General Manager of Golf Pride, with a functional reporting line to Eaton IT, this role serves as a strategic partner to senior leadership and a key liaison between Golf Pride and the broader Eaton technology organization.

This position is based at Golf Pride's state-of-the-art headquarters in Pinehurst, NC. Relocation assistance is available. Estimated travel is approximately 10%.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $165000 - $242000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do:

Enterprise Technology Strategy
• Partner with the President and senior leadership team to define and execute a multi-year enterprise systems roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Ensure technology applications operate as a cohesive, scalable, and sustainable ecosystem.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to system integration, cost, security, and long-term support.
Business Partnership & Delivery
• Support functional leaders in the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of core business applications.
• Provide oversight and guidance to ensure technology initiatives are delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, helping evaluate technology trade-offs and opportunities.

Data & Architecture Leadership
• Establish and lead an enterprise-wide approach to data management, governance, security, and protection.
• Define and enforce data standards and best practices to improve data quality, accessibility, and analytics capabilities.
Eaton IT Coordination
• Act as the primary point of alignment between Golf Pride and Eaton IT.
• Partner closely with Eaton IT Business Relationship Management to ensure compliance with corporate standards while addressing Golf Pride-specific business needs.
• Leverage Eaton IT platforms and capabilities where appropriate to drive efficiency and value.
Financial & Governance Oversight
• Manage the cross-functional Golf Pride IT budget, including direct spend and Eaton IT allocations.
• Ensure technology investments are aligned with strategic priorities and deliver measurable business value.
Innovation & Change Leadership
• Stay current on emerging technologies and digital trends relevant to branded consumer products and manufacturing.
• Champion thoughtful innovation and lead change initiatives that improve speed, scalability, and business performance.
Organization & Resources
• Report directly to the President of Golf Pride and serve on the Senior Leadership Team.
• Report functionally (dotted line) to VP of IT inside Eaton for alignment and support.
• Support from Eaton IT Business Relationship Manager to leverage Eaton where it makes sense.
• Collaborate with Golf Pride business leaders who own their processes supported by technology.
• Begin as individual contributor, bringing Golf Pride and Eaton leaders together around one plan
• Potential to build a dedicated IT team inside Golf Pride as it makes good business sense

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT and/or digital leadership experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
• MBA or master's degree in information systems or a related field.
• 10+ years of IT leadership experience across both enterprise and business-unit environments.
• Experience in consumer products, retail, or branded manufacturing.
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders within a matrixed organization.
