Digital Tools Support Specialist
Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Digital Tools Support Specialist.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $108000 - $158000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:
Eaton Corporation has an opening for a Digital Tools Specialist within the Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) Division, supporting sales and sales support roles. This role provides leadership and development of proposal, bidding, and sales enablement infrastructure by managing proposal systems, cost tools, dashboards, training programs, and supporting technologies. This role serves as the central program manager for BidManager (Bidman) and proposal-related processes, leading system enhancements, data organization, supplier and qualification databases, and cross functional training initiatives for sales and sales support teams. The position partners closely with Marketing, IT, Operations, Contracts, and Sales teams to improve efficiency, standardization, and reuse of proposal content, while independently leading continuous improvement, rollout execution, documentation, and user adoption across the organization.

In this position you will;
- Own and continuously enhance the proposal storage architecture, ensuring content is organized, accessible, and scalable.
- Maintain and improve standardized cost spreadsheets, driving accuracy, consistency, and usability across the sales organization.
- Serve as the primary owner of all Power BI dashboards, leading ongoing development, enhancements, and data integrity.
- Manage and monitor JHS process execution and performance metrics, ensuring visibility and accountability.
- Lead the development of onboarding training for sales and sales support teams focused on digital tools and processes.
- Co lead (with Marketing) the design and delivery of ongoing training programs for sales and sales support organizations.
- Operate with a high degree of independence, effectively prioritizing work and driving initiatives to completion with minimal oversight
- Improve and maintain the Approved Suppliers database, including supplier contact information and data accuracy.
- BidManager (Bidman) Program Leadership & Project Management
- Act as program/project manager for all Bidman releases, including milestone planning, meeting cadence, schedules, scope management, action tracking, and business case documentation.
- Provide limited development and enhancement support to the BidManager Support Specialist.
- Lead training, rollout planning, and enablement for S3, TAS, and future NAS teams, including documentation and supplemental launch materials.
- Facilitate and lead quarterly Bidman Council sessions to capture Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proposal Tools, Costing, and Digital Enablement
- Own proposal logs, cost sheets, and supporting digital tools, including ongoing user training and adoption.
- Enhance BOM printouts, including benchmarking against competitive offerings.
- Drive continuous feature enhancements across proposal and costing tools.
- Support and contribute to future BidManager integration initiatives.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with 5 years experience with Computer / IT / Software designing and building take-off / configurator/ Microsoft Office pricing applications OR in lieu of degree 7 years' experience with Computer / IT / Software designing and building take-off / configurator/ Microsoft Office pricing applications

Preferred Qualifications:
- Five (5) years experience of hands on field service and/or proposal generation experience specific to services within the electrical industry. Or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of seven (7) years of hands on field service and/or proposal generation experience specific to services within the electrical industry, combined with a high school diploma.
- Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficient in Salesforce, Bid Manager, and PowerBI
- Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Excel, including creating macros
- Strong product expertise or the ability to collect required product data as needed
- Project management experience to ensure timely completion of related projects; excellent organizational abilities
- Background in software testing or software development
- Exceptional communication skills for direct interaction with product line managers, plant engineers, and other specialists; excellent interpersonal strengths
- Capable of defining enhancement requirements for Bid Manager and effectively communicating these to Business Analysts and Programmers within Eaton Electrical IT
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation leadership, consistently generating new and original ideas
- Experience working with commercial product configuration software
- Familiarity with Bid Manager, PowerBI, Vista, and Salesforce
- Proactive approach, strong attention to detail, task-oriented mindset, and persistence in overcoming challenges to meet deadlines
- Well-developed logical thinking and outstanding computer skills

• Working knowledge of pricing strategies, cost structures, and proposal development processes within the electrical services or power distribution industry.
