Demand Planner

What you'll do:

1. Direct and administrate activities associated with sales forecast, demand planning, supply planning, purchase order, and inventory management for China commercial organization to ensure best in class customer service level while minimizing inventory and cost.
2. Formulate operation and inventory strategies to align with the requirements of fast growing business.
3. Establish, implement and refine policies and processes of customer order priority, sales forecast, demand planning, supply planning, purchase order, inventory management, master data, etc.
4. Lead the sales and operational planning (SIOP) process, and drive optimal mix between customer satisfaction, inventory and cost.
5. Manage supply plan and distribution plan to ensure inventories are planned and deployed into right warehouses with right quantity and right time.
6. Administrate the entry, issue, and close of purchase orders; coordinate with plants and suppliers to ensure on time supply, shorten supply lead time, and narrow supply variation. Communicate with customers and suppliers to resolve issues related to delivery, service, quality and price.
7. Initiate and lead projects to continuously improve departmental performance, process and system.
8. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to reach consensus on sales forecast and demand plan.
9. Coordinate with plant and SCM team to work out reliable supply plans.
10. Conduct what-if analysis; reconcile variances; and shape business opportunities and risks.
11. Participate in executive SIOP meeting and get approval for finalized operational plans

• Bachelor's degree or above
• 2+ years of demand planning experience
• Strong communication, coordination, and flexibility skills.
