Job Summary
Assure process control thru monitor of process performance metrics (Yield, Cpk); accountable for quality performance by monitoring and lead quality efforts to improve process performance and reduce variation among the production process. Support problem solving activities as result of poor perfomance of key metrics under responsability yield and cpk.
Job Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain performance metrics as required to monitor results and uses as tool to identify and initiate process improvements within manufacturing facility
2. Prepare report and presentation to monitor and improve the metrics that impact Quality indicators such as: Yield performance and Cpk. .
3. Collect and maintain Historic data control (statistics of products) to support and determine quality issue and root cause.
4.Perform capability analysis to monitor variation among production key processes and operations according to EQMS requirements

5. Keep PFMEA actualize with unusual conditions of the production process, as specified by the EQMS.
6. Play an active participation in the Departmental Teams as required.
7. Perform root cause analysis - support problem solving and continuous improvement efforts by bringing attention to quality problems, participating on improvement teams, and working with front end, design, quality and production personnel to resolve problems.
8. Support 8D Teams and corrective action activities. Use data analysis software (i.e. Excel, Power BI & Minitab).
9. Develop and implement corrective actions using 8D, A3, and other lean tools to support initiatives around the reduction of FPY.
10. Analyze non conforming products in production process and take corrective actions FPY.
Requisitos:
Education level required
- 1,200 hrs technical knowledge or
- 90% approval BS degree in Industrial Engineering, Electromechanical, Electric or other related sciences
Years and area of experience required
- If technical knowledge validation 3 years experience required (Qlt, Mfg & Eng)
- If BS profesional knowledge validation 2 years experience required ((Qlt, Mfg & Eng)
Technical knowledge
1.Intermediate english understanding (English / Spanish)
2. PC knowledge: Microsoft Office, Minitab, Power BI.
3. Knowledge: Lean Tools, 6 Sigma and SPC. Problem solving skills.
