Co-Op Product Engineering - Talent dev. Program
Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Co-Op Product Engineering - Talent dev. Program.
What you'll do:
The primary role for this position is to support engineers to develop or improve products or services, reduce cost and develop new product technologies.
Support engineers in the development and/or improvement of products and/or services.
Conduct engineering evaluations in the Lab and production lines.
Develop basic flowcharts, drawings, schematics, markups, 3D/2D and PCB layouts using computer aided design tools.
Use PLM (Product lifecycle management) and Cloud tools to manage products and services.
Develop basic systems or improve systems using programming languages.
Provide support to engineering runs, tests and validations.
Develop basic knowledge of products testing, agency standards and field applications.
Comply with EHS required training, perform all laboratory activities following EHS requirements.
Qualifications:
- Student in Engineering related areas such Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanics, Systems, Software with 150 approved credits.
- No industrial experience required. 3 months minimum of hands on experience in Lab or university related area experience.
- Experience with Microsoft office, CAD tool, Programming languages/tools (Java, C, C#, C++, HTML, Python, Etc), EDA tools, database and tests equipments knowledge. Vocational school certificates or university labs participation. Oral and written intermediate english required.
- Intermediate English.
