Contract Administrator
Eaton's AER MSD Mission System Division division is currently seeking a Contract Administrator.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year.

What you'll do:
Eaton Mission Systems Davenport Inc. is seeking a Contract Administrator for a Contract Review Team that provides contractual guidance during compliance reviews of purchase orders in accordance with company policies, customer specifications, statements of work, and government regulations; administration of contracts by reviewing and managing contracts, changes in scope, equitable adjustments, helping to ensure contracts are properly structured and executed within budget in accordance with company policies, customer specifications, statements of work, and government regulations.
This position is in Davenport Iowa. This position is available for Hybrid Scheduling.

• Demonstrate advanced knowledge and expertise in the Davenport Business Management System.
• Identify and recommend mitigation solutions for onerous terms and conditions.
• Advise program and senior management of potential program risks in accordance with the contracts policy, company goals and objectives and customer requirements.
• Assist Integrated Production Teams by providing guidance on contractual matters.
• Provide guidance on U.S. Government Department of Defense FAR/DFARS/TINA/UCC/CAS/ITAR/EAR and other government procurement regulations.
• Provide guidance regarding intellectual property concepts and their application.
• Experience working independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment, handling a variety of high-level contracting activities.
• Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills that allow the individual to effectively interface with various levels of management of both internal and external customers.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills with the ability to mitigate business risk and adhere to corporate compliance.
• Prepare customer correspondence as needed to satisfy contractual obligations, communicate exceptions, or resolve disputes.
• Evaluate assigned contracts in accordance with company policies, customer specifications, statements of work, and government regulations.
• Administration of purchase orders or contracts from order entry to contract closeout.
• Perform compliance reviews of purchase orders and ensure alignment with proposal requirements.
Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience with government contracts or subcontract administration.
• Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution.
OR Military Experience in Lieu of a Degree
OR an Associates Degree AND a minimum of 1 year of experience with government contracts or subcontract administration.
OR a High School Diploma AND a minimum of 3 years of experience with government contracts or subcontract administration.
• Relocation is not provided. All candidates must currently reside within 70 miles of Eaton's Davenport IA. facility.
• All Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now AND in the future.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. "Green Card Holder"), Political Asylee or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 2+ years' government contract or subcontract administration experience in the defense contractor manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or aerospace and defense company.
• Experience with SAP ERP systems.
• Knowledge of export regulations.
• Knowledge of Aerospace certification requirements and their application.
• Knowledge of negotiating price and terms and conditions including reduction of risk through identification of onerous terms and conditions.
• Knowledge of FFP (Firm Fixed Price), CPFF (Cost Plus Fixed Fee), T&M (Time and Materials), UCA (Un-definitized Contract Action) contract types in a manufacturing company.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and excellent internal and external customer interface.
