Our EMEA Business Service Center (BSC) in Budapest is Eaton's largest office in the region. With a diverse team of over 700 people, representing 40+ nationalities and speaking 20+ languages, the BSC is the central hub for business services. As Continuous Improvement Manager, you will drive Lean Six Sigma programs, delivering data-driven projects and actionable insights in partnership with Controllership and delivery teams within Global Finance and Accounting division. You will focuse on improving financial performance through cost reduction, waste elimination, and effective stakeholder-led project execution.
What you'll do:
- Build the CI Structure and Framework: Design and implement the Continuous Improvement (CI) structure and framework for the Controllership function.
- Identify and Execute Projects: Oversee planning, execution, and completion of cost-out projects in alignment with budget and timelines, partnering closely with the PMO team.
- Lead CI Events: Facilitate Value Stream Mapping (VSM) sessions, mentor teams in CI methodologies such as Rapid Improvement Events (RIE), Business Process Improvement (BPI), A3 problem-solving, and Kaizen.
- Implement and Monitor CI Standards: Deploy and monitor CI standards, including the Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS) and other key process benchmarks.
- Develop and Deploy Finance Process Standards: Collaborate with all finance functions and other business units, ensuring new processes are trained and embedded into daily operations.
- Perform Evaluations and Drive Strategy: Develop strategies and action plans to advance organizational maturity.
- Execution & Delivery: Manage daily execution, coordinate crossfunctional project teams, remove roadblocks, and ensure agile delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Provide timely updates, run meetings, and maintain communication with stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Identify risks and lead mitigation plans with teams.
- Governance & Quality: Ensure compliance with standards, maintain documentation, and support reviews and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Finance/Business management or equivalent
- Exstensive experience in a Continous Improvement role and preferably in finance and accounting environment (AP, AR, GL, etc)
- Strong knowledge of CI tools and methodologies (e.g.Project management tools, VSM, RIE, BPI, Kaizen).
- Relevant project management and leadership skills, also ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and training skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English (other EU languages preferable).
- Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt), and other relevant continuous improvement methodologies are highly preferred.
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at multiple levels up to senior level.
