Commercial Marketing Manager
Eaton Corporation, located in Raleigh, NC has an opening for a Commercial Marketing Manager for the Critical Power Solutions Division.
Relocation will be provided within the United States.
This manager of people role leads the commercial marketing activities for Critical Power Solutions including value proposition design, product positioning and messaging, sales & marketing materials and tools, market & competitive intelligence, new product commercialization, and commercial marketing programs to drive annual profit plan sales and margin attainment. This manager will assist in developing the annual Data Center Vertical Operating Plan and lead the Critical Power Strategic Plan and provide input to the Profit Plan.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $130,000 - $190,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:
- Developing and implementing marketing and customer service strategies by segment, customer type, and service method in support of division price, share and profitability goals
- Collaborating with product line management to ensure that above strategies are aligned
- Collecting and analyzing competitors' capabilities and specifics as available and developing recommendations for counter strategies and tactics as needed
- Develop and create internally focused digital tools strategy to enable improved decision making and reporting
- Develop and create external digital tools strategy to improve the ease of doing business and how we interface with sales and customers including Salesforce implementation and process support
- Collaborate with Plants and Customer teams to create improved customer advocacy and experience
- Provide analytics to support all CPS product lines
- Create and drive key growth programs that span multiple product lines and/or divisions, targeting various segments and channel
- Acts as a liaison between Product Management, Sales, Operations, and other key stakeholders
- Coordinate marketing communication activities around budgets, activities, accuracy of the Product Information on Eaton.com and Order Center and other systems

Qualifications:
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, marketing or business from an accredited institution
- Minimum 7 years of experience in technical marketing, sales, strategic planning, operations, or product line management
- Must be willing to travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of management of people experience
- 10 years of experience in sales, technical support, marketing or engineering
- 5 years' experience in market analysis, marketing communications programs, product launches, and budget management.
- 5 year's experience in providing sales/ field support and performing customer/ industry presentations.
- Masters degree in Business Administration
Skills:
- Excellent communication (both verbal and written, up and down organization), organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent presentation skills and public speaking experience.
- Must be comfortable working with a matrixed organization to drive collaboration and decision making across functions (sales, marketing, ops)
- Ability to work effectively in team environment and independently.
- Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-changing, fast-paced and demanding environment
- Understanding of Eaton Product management and marketing competencies
- Product launch experience in the Datacenter/IT market
- Must be highly analytical, critical thinker and comfortable in dealing with ambiguity. Demonstrated problem-solving ability
- Strong drive for results; willingness to take initiative
- Possesses an understanding and passion for the use of effective digital tools
