Commercial Excellence Director, Mobility Group
Eaton's Mobility team is seeking a Commercial Excellence Director, as a key driver in supporting the enterprise's growth ambitions.
Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.
What you'll do:
Eaton's Mobility team is seeking Commercial Excellence Director. This role is a key driver in supporting the enterprise's growth ambitions. This role combines deep sales expertise with advanced process design and technology strategy. The individual will lead the implementation of Salesforce as our primary CRM platform, identify complementary tools or modules, and establish a clear roadmap for transformation. This role will design, optimize, and govern our ideal conversion process from lead generation to sale. A critical aspect of this role is bringing together senior regional sales leads and other key cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and adoption across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Salesforce implementation and roadmap planning; evaluate and recommend add-on modules or integrations to address specialized needs
- Drive an the end-to-end lead-to-sale conversion process, establish governance and best practices, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration by engaging senior regional sales leaders, marketing, operations, and other stakeholders
- Establish a commercial functional roadmap outlining major milestones for process optimization, technology deployment, and adoption; ensure roadmap aligns with organizational growth objectives and resource planning. Drive change management and training initiatives for new workflows and tools
- Define KPIs for conversion stages and monitor performance at an executive level; deliver insights and recommendations to senior leadership for ongoing optimization
Location:
This is a globally operating role, with the preferred location at one of the Mobility Group Headquarter sites - Southfield (Detroit), Michigan in the US, Valinhos in Brazil, or Turin in Italy.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales, Commercial Excellence, or Business Strategy roles
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent Executive business education preferred, from an accredited institution
- Proven leadership in Sales Operations, Process Design, or CRM Strategy
- Direct people management experience preferred, but not required
- Experienced in enterprise-level CRM transformation projects
Skills:
- Deep understanding of sales methodologies and customer lifecycle management
- Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting and funnel management
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce), sales analytics tools, and business intelligence platforms. Strong ability to identify and integrate add-on modules or third-party solutions
- Background in business process reengineering or operational excellence
- Familiarity with marketing automation and lead scoring strategies
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams
- Exceptional influencing and collaboration skills; ability to lead through others without direct authority
- Experience leading in a global, matrix organization
