EATON is hiring a
Commerce Cloud Architect Salesforce
this is a hybrid (3/2) position, based in Budapest (Hungary) or Warsaw (Poland)
This position is responsible for defining, designing, and communicating a shared architectural vision for a high-impact global transformation to Salesforce Commerce Cloud. He/She will help spearhead a modern buying experience across multiple industry use cases, with a strong focus on B2B buying motions as well as Direct-to-consumer use cases.
What you'll do:
- Lead B2B Implementations: Architect solutions with order management, account hierarchies, and personalised catalogues
- Build Headless Infrastructure: Launch modern setup and roadmap for AI-first buying experience
- Ensure Scalable Architecture: Apply Salesforce fundamentals for high-performing multi-cloud solutions
- Governance & Delivery: Set standards, review code, manage documentation, and oversee execution
- Mentor Architects: Guide teams on best practices and transformation strategy
- Align Tech to Business: Translate goals into agile, product-first roadmaps
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with vendors, backend teams, and architects
- Enable CI/CD: Promote automation and continuous delivery
- Define Interfaces & Security: Specify integrations, data flows, and cybersecurity
- Champion Quality: Oversee technical excellence and automation
- Manage Technical Debt: Prioritise non-functional tasks to reduce long-term risk
Qualifications and skills:
- Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree; 8+ years in software development with a strong delivery record - Salesforce Expertise:
Deep knowledge of Salesforce Commerce and platform; experience with CPQ, Order Management, Lightning, Apex, Visualforce, Flow, LWC - Architecture & Leadership:
Proven ability to lead technical delivery, mentor teams, and train peers - Preferred Background:
Experience with Oracle ATG or similar legacy systems; Salesforce certifications (e.g. B2B Commerce Architect, System/Application Architect); familiarity with Agentforce and AI commerce use cases - Technical Depth:
Strong grasp of software design, algorithms, multithreading, scalable systems, DevSecOps, CI/CD, microservices, APIs, and cloud services - Agile Delivery:
Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies - Communication & Collaboration:
Advanced English; excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences; strong judgment and teamwork - Cultural Awareness:
