CapEx Category Sourcing- Indirect Procurement
What you'll do:
The incumbent will be responsible for Indirect Procurement of Capital Material. The purpose of this position is development and deployment of the Commodity strategy for CapEx Category to drive optimal cost and conditions (commercial, quality, delivery). Develop, deploy, and manage all related contracts. Drive all defined and required steps and actions in order to fulfil requirements of the supplier management process. Collaborate with other functions, all corporate ledgers & stake holders for sourcing and rationalization. Focus on Supplier consolidation & supplier pay term improvement as well as optimize the delivery terms.
"1. Develop, plan, monitor and execute Capital material category strategy.
2. Implement and execute on CapEx commodity sourcing strategies to effectively leverage Capital Indirect spend.
3. Develop commodity strategies aligned with latest internal and external environmental, market and economic factors. Build and maintain organizational consensus and alignment to the commodity strategies.
4. Negotiate and manage key strategic supplier agreements, cost negotiations and relationships
5. Responsible to maintain supply continuity via risk identification and mitigation.
6. Develop positive relationships with suppliers and demonstrates Eaton's ethics, values and philosophy.
7. Develop strong positive ethical relationships with suppliers & adhere to Eaton's Code of Conduct.
8. Responsible for supplier reduction / tail spend suppliers
9. Ensure the monthly reporting/BSC update on time
10. Responsible to drive cost out to achieve SCM objectives and ensure CODB update on time."
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Engineering OR Supply Chain Management
8-10 years in Supply Chain Management preferably in Indirect Sourcing with categories like Professional Services, CAPEX, Facilities, MRO, Energy, Packaging, IT & Telecom
Skills:
Certification- Any certification in supply management like CPSM, CSM is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent knowledge with MS office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project)
Conflict Management, Negotiation, Market Analysis, Ability to work under tough situations, High Impact Communication, Global exposure, tech savvy.
