C# - Software Engineer - IntelliConnect vehicle diagnostics software

Location: Prague, Roztoky, Czech Republic

Do you like C# , ASP.NET Core, are you interested in full stack development of web-based application?

Do you want to work on system which provides support for heavy duty vehicles and process about 30 million fault codes every day? Are you interested in writing clean code? Do you like functional programming?

Do you want to work in close co-operation with other Eaton teams as, product management or quality assurance in various locations? Would you like to be the key part development team working on IntelliConnect diagnostic software?

What's the project about?

• IntelliConnect - a remote diagnostics for automated transmissions. A platform for connected solutions, which provides near real-time monitoring of vehicle fault codes, prioritizes the critical events.
• Modular monolith architecture, focus on testing & automation, CI/CD, Azure cloud PaaS

What will be your mission?

• Full stack software developer of modern diagnostics software
• Participation in design and development of high-quality, high-performance, unit-tested code
• Implement robust, scalable and cybersecure solutions
• Responsibility for selected components of the system in close co-operation with technical product owner / system architect
• Perform code reviews and promote best software practices, standards and processes
• Cooperation with QA team, investigate and fix bugs; create automated integration tests

We would like you to know:

• How to design, code, test, and debug software
• Object-oriented and multi-threading coding skills
• C#, .NET Framework, .Net Core, Visual Studio / VS Code
• HTML, CSS, modern Javascript frameworks
• MS SQL
• Agile development approach
• Azure DevOps as a tool for software development (source code, CI/CD pipelines, pull requests)

Nice to have

• F# - functional programming
• Ember.js / React / Node.js
• Microsoft Azure cloud
• GitHub Copilot

First days and months

• From day 1 be part of an international team
• Hands on the project, learn about Eaton's transmissions and software solutions
• To understand the business domain and vehicle operations
• Development of new features and continues re-factoring of the current code
