Buyer - Planner
Eaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Buyer - Planner. This position will be based at our facility in Omaha, NE.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $71000 - $105000 a year.

What you'll do:
In the role you will help plan and procure a large variety of complex materials and products to effectively support production requirements for our operation. You'll have the chance to help develop and improve processes by working with cross functional teams. Additionally, your skills will strengthen supplier relations by negotiating prices and setting clear delivery expectations. You are the first step of ensuring that our customers receive a quality product, on time, and that exceeds their expectations. You'll leverage data to analyze trends within multiple markets and internal situations and provide key insights to improve performance measures.
Your responsibilities may also include:
• Develop and execute category strategies based on market trends, supplier capabilities, and organizational needs.
• Proactively plan inventory, make Kanban decisions, optimize warehouse in support of the production demand of the plant
• Lead sourcing and procurement activities for assigned categories, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and service levels.
• Support the organization's ERP transition by aligning procurement processes, maintaining data accuracy, participating in system testing, and helping train end users.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost reductions and favorable conditions.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and risk through regular evaluations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate cross functionally with operations, finance, and engineering to forecast demand and support business objectives.
• Analyze purchasing data, market conditions, and spend trends to drive strategic decision making
• Monitor inventory levels, resolve supply issues, and optimize replenishment strategies.
• Mentor junior buyers, providing guidance on procurement best practices and category management
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in purchasing role

Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain from an accredited institution
