Buyer Assistant

Eaton is currently seeking a Buyer Assistant. The core hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm. The hourly rate for this position is $21.52 - $25.15 per hour.

What you'll do:

• Work as liaison between plant and supplier by monitoring material shortage reports that could impact sales.
• Update reports for Production and Operations
• Communicate daily critical materials and their status to the Buyers/Planners.
• Send monthly forecast to suppliers.
• Enter and maintain Purchase orders
• Update PO acknowledgements, and due dates
• Maintain Supplier KPI's
• Ensure data integrity

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• A minimum of 1 year of Supply Chain Experience
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
• Two years or more experience in Supply Chain
• Previous experience in roles such as materials or purchasing assistance
• Previous use of AS 400

Position Criteria:

• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Effective oral and written communication skills as well as planning and organizational skills.
