Business Intelligence Development Manager
Eaton's division is currently seeking a Business Intelligence Development Manager.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $150,000 - $160,000 a year.

What you'll do:
Execute the analytics roadmap enabling strategic use of data at Eaton and lead a team of Business Intelligence Analysts by providing guidance and mentorship to all members of the team. Participate as a BI developer on a scrum team charged with delivering highly available self-service data platforms and data domains. Work on impactful projects ranging from developing critical data pipelines that help run the business to building tools to analyze Eaton's sales, opportunity, performance, and strategic planning data, which guides the North American Sales organization. Take ownership of the BI Development Team's outcomes, goal setting, and career development. Lead the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions that support the strategic goals of the organization. Work closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business insights and decisions. Build optimal data pipelines to deliver data from many sources including Oracle and SQL Server databases as well as Big Data Technologies. Collaborate with IT data engineering teams to drive improvements in data pipeline and data warehousing components that are simple, reliant, and performant. Develop and maintain secure data models that support business intelligence solutions. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into key business metrics. Consult on and resolve tier 3 technical support issues directly related to the MCO Analytics team's analytics platforms. Develop strong understanding of data domains captured through operational processes and customer interactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on data definitions, metrics, and reporting. Position is fixed location based in Moon Township office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed up to two (2) days per week.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical) or a directly related field plus seven (7) years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization.
Must have seven (7) years of experience in each of the following(experience may be gained concurrently): -
- Working with business intelligence tools including Power BI, data pipeline and semantic model development
- Coding languages including SQL, DAX, M, Python, and R
- ETL tools including Microsoft Power Query
- Manipulating, processing and extracting value from large, disconnected datasets

Must have three (3) years of experience in each of the following(experience may be gained concurrently):
- Acting in a Senior or Lead capacity on a development team, including mentoring and coaching less experienced business intelligence developers and analysts
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software and Customer Relationship Management Software (CRM) and associated business processes
- Application of Agile principles, Scrum Framework, and DevOps best practices
