Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Bidman Configuration Specialist (Senior System Analyst) in our Burlington, ON office to join our team. We offer benefits from day one.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $82000 - $102000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What will you do?
The Bidman Configuration Specialist will be responsible for partnering with the product managers and sales to improve, advance and maintain the Bid Manager takeoffs, functionality, and data related for all Eaton products in Canada. The role plays an integral role for creation and deployment of pricing strategies for Eaton Canada. The Bidman Configuration Specialist will also learn the products' features and functions to be able to competently maintain the Bid Manager takeoff throughout the product's life cycle.

Essential Functions:

  • Partner with product managers and manufacturing plants to support and maintain product configurations within the Bid Manager application.
  • Lead collaboration with IT, external partners, and stakeholders to execute and support the Canadian Bid Manager strategy.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the U.S. Bid Manager team, developing functional specifications and coordinating system changes.
  • Develop and deliver Bid Manager training, acting as a subject matter expert to support users and resolve functionality questions.
  • Gather Voice of Customer insights from sales and product teams to identify pain points and drive a prioritized roadmap of Bid Manager enhancements.
  • Support new product development by updating product, pricing tables, and business rules, ensuring cross-regional alignment.
  • Write and manage requirements documentation and configure, test, and launch Bid Manager take-offs.
  • Drive pricing and configuration standardization across Engineer-to-Order and shelf products.
  • Enhance stakeholder understanding of Bid Manager capabilities across sales, marketing, channel, and operations teams.
  • Collaborate with global development teams (including Pune) to maintain and enhance take-offs across multiple product groups.
  • Lead Bid Manager maintenance and enhancements to ensure alignment with enterprise systems and consistency across North American regions.
  • Provide ongoing operational support by maintaining data, tables, rules, and reporting for Bid Manager users across Canada.

Qualifications:

Basic Required Qualifications:
• University Degree or College Diploma, in a technical field from an accredited institution
• Minimum 3 years' prior experience with electrical products
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future
• No relocation provided

Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified Electrical Technician, Electrical or Mechanical Technician or Technologist designation; electrical background preferred
• Minimum 5 years' experience with electrical products
• Minimum 1 year of experience using configuration or pricing platform
