Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Assembler (M-Force) 2nd shift. The hourly rate for this position is $18.91 + .75 shift differential per hour. What you'll do:
The M-Force Assembler position utilizes knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform a variety of tasks in the production of the Power Systems M-Force Three-Phase Switch product line. Maintains standards of quality, production, and safety; complies with all company policies and works as part of a team to ensure that daily goals are met.
Safety:
- Responsible for following all safety policies and procedures, complying with JSA's, wearing proper PPE, complying with the production attire policy, and assuring that the work cell has safe equipment and no risk is placed on their coworkers or themselves.
- Any safety issue identified should be reported immediately to supervisor or manager.
- General cleaning of shop areas and personal 5S/industrial housekeeping responsibility.
Production:
- Work under limited supervision to plan, requisition materials, set up and operate a variety of operations and coordinate run sequences to assemble polymer and/or porcelain three-phase switches according to the OMS/standard work for each operation.
- Work from drawings, prints, work orders, or operation descriptions.
- Be fully trained on all operations within the Three-Phase Switch department, which may include component assembly, unit phase assembly, switch • Use equipment such as various hand and air tools, torque wrenches, hoists, hydraulic press, cut-off-saw, pneumatic nail gun, continuity tester, and fork truck.
- Be responsible for setting-up the workstation, maintaining production, process control and quality standards, and conforming to all safety and good housekeeping standards. You'll also carry out all assemblies, processes, tests, and inspections related to the production of three-phase switch product lines.
- Maintain quality standards consistent with the Eaton's Cooper Power Systems Quality Policy. Visually inspects components and products. Takes responsibility and ownership of the recognition and communication of quality issues.
- Ensure the supervisor/manager is notified of all problems with product or quality

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of one year production experience
- Experience with driving a forklift
- Experience with reading blue prints
Position Criteria:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read and write, simple math skills including adding and subtracting whole numbers and fractions.
- Ability to read and interpret a tape measure.
- Ability to communicate problems in product or quality in to supervisor or manager clearly and concisely.
- Following all safety policies and procedures, complying with JSA's, wearing proper PPE, complying with the production attire policy, and assuring that the work cell has safe equipment and no risk is placed on their coworkers or themselves.
- Ability to support a team environment, accepting other duties as assigned, including flexing between work cells as needed.
- Responsible for general cleaning of shop areas and personal 5S/industrial housekeeping
