We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer - Low Voltage System - Oil and Gas to join our team in Dubai.

What you'll do:

  • Engage with clients to understand their requirements and application needs.
  • Provide technical advice on selecting, configuring, and optimizing motor control centers for heavy industries and O&G sector
  • Participate in FEED, Analyze customer specifications and recommend tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with design ,engineering and product managment teams to develop configurations that meet customer specifications
  • Ensure End customers ,consultants and EPC are aware of the latest technologies provided by Eaton.
  • Manage application projects from concept through to delivery in coordination with project managers, ensuring timelines, quality, and performance objectives are met
  • Promote Eaton smart MCC's , digital solutions, Arc management solutions with end customers, highlighting their advantages to their application
  • Ensure all designs and applications comply with relevant safety standards, electrical codes, and regulations
  • Troubleshoot any issues during the design, assembly, or testing stages, providing solutions to ensure optimal
    performance
  • Support for integration of our systems with third part systems like SCADA or EPMS

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in an Application Engineering role with a focus on Motor Control Centers for Oil and
    Gas

Skills:

  • Professional certification in electrical systems is an advantage
  • Experience in designing and implementing MCC for various applications (mainly oil and Gas)
  • Strong understanding of electrical switchboards, intelligent MCC's and control systems, circuit breakers, relays, and electrical components
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, EPLAN,Revit,.. etc.) for creating and reviewing electrical layouts and
    schematics
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards, industry regulations (such as IEC, NEC), and best practices
  • Hands-on experience with switchboard testing and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with smart switchboards, automation, and integration with building management systems (BMS), and industrial Field bus communication systems
  • Experience in project management or working with CRM/ERP systems
  • Understanding of Oil and Gas upstream and downstream applications and their integration with our solutions
