APAC Quality Manager

What you'll do:

This position is responsible for leading quality management across the APAC region, with a focus on driving supplier quality engineering (SQE), incoming quality control (IQC), and production line (BLINE) quality assurance. The role oversees the implementation and continuous improvement of quality systems(EQMS), and ensures effective execution of after-sales service processes for EX/MTL products. The position ensures compliance with corporate quality standards and regulatory requirements, supporting business growth and aligning with strategic objectives.

1.Lead the Regional Quality Strategy
Drive the development and execution of the APAC quality strategy, ensuring alignment with global standards and regional business goals. Lead initiatives across supplier quality, incoming inspection, in-process control, and customer satisfaction.
2.Drive After-Sales Quality for EX/HAC/MTL/B-Line Products
Oversee the quality aspects of EX/HAC/MTL/B-Line after-sales service. Analyze field failure data, coordinate with service teams, and implement feedback loops to improve product reliability and customer satisfaction.
3.Implement and Improve Quality Management Systems (EQMS)
Ensure compliance with ISO and Eaton quality standards. Lead internal and external audits, maintain documentation, and drive continuous improvement of the EQMS across all APAC sites.
4.Enable Cross-Functional Quality Collaboration
Partner with supply chain, engineering, operations, and commercial teams to ensure quality is embedded in all processes. Facilitate quality reviews and support new product introductions (NPI) with robust quality planning.
5.Ensure Regulatory Compliance and Sustainability
Uphold compliance with local regulations, customer requirements, and corporate sustainability goals. Promote environmental, health, and safety (EHS) integration within quality processes.
6.Develop and Lead a High-Performing Quality Team
Build and mentor a capable regional quality team. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence aligned with the Eaton Leadership Model.
7.Champion Digitalization and Quality Process Innovation
Lead or support digital transformation initiatives in quality, such as EQMS, automated inspection, and data analytics. Promote lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency and transparency.
8.Manage Certified Assembly Partner (CAP)
Lead the CAP process across the region. Ensure Certified Assembly Partners meet quality standards through audits, performance tracking, and continuous improvement, aligning with corporate and customer expectations.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor degree in mechanical or industrial engineering, or other related discipline;
  2. 10 years of experience in a quality management field with multiple site quality management experience
  3. Proficient in quality management methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma), supplier quality engineering (SQE), incoming quality control (IQC), and quality audit processes.
  4. Skilled in using quality management systems (EQMS), statistical analysis tools (such as Minitab or advanced Excel functions), and digital platforms for quality data management and reporting (e.g., Power BI, Python)
  5. Fluent in English and one regional language, with strong cross-cultural communication abilities.
  6. Strong continuous improvement sense, strong team working with cross-function team, customer focus concept
