Analyst TCO
What you'll do:
1. Work as a key member of the GSC COE Materials responsible for running Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) evaluations for several supply chain projects - resourcing, make vs. buy, localization, multi-sourcing, etc.
2. Carry out rigorous analysis taking into consideration all cost factors, qualitative factors, and determining the best option in terms of lowest total cost, working capital while also keeping in view lead times.
3. Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain design to improve efficiency.
4. Liaison/Coordinate/Lead (as required) to develop projects to enhance supply chain design.
• Conduct TCO analysis to evaluate supply chain decisions through a series of "modelling and scenario building" exercises and simulations.
• Determine opportunities for total cost, inventory, and led time reduction and recommend best alternative.
• Work cross-functionally for data gathering, validation, and analysis with procurement, logistics, GTM, materials, quality and others as required.
• Manage project workflow cycle to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
Qualifications:
• Masters/Bachelor's with about 6-8 years of experience in Supply Chain
Skills:
• Strong analytical skills, end to end supply chain knowledge, fair understanding of top line & bottom-line cost factors, and product & manufacturing process.
• Experience analyzing and improving supply chain data, information, and processes.
• Exceptional ability to conceptualize large-picture projects and foresee challenge and needs to be addressed.
• Ability to manage multiple projects/activities, project management skills.
• Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work with teams across the globe.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization (customers, marketing, engineering, quality, and manufacturing)
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, or similar role working to improve all aspects of the supply chain
• Analytical mind with business acumen
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication & presentation skills
• Advanced functional knowledge and exposure in Materials, Supply Chain, Sales & Operations planning, inventory, material planning, techno-commercial aspects of supply chain, costing etc.
• Proficient skills level in MS Office: Excel and Power Point presentations
• Working level knowledge of ERP (Oracle, SAP, Mfg. Pro)
• Preferred exposure in working with remote teams
• Strong teaming skills: ability to leverage resources; creativity
• Ability to influence others' decision making.
• Supply Chain Management certification (CPIM, CLTD or equivalent) strongly preferred
