Aerospace Power Systems Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university or equivalent.

• 5+ years minimum experience in power system design and protection development including in depth understanding of electrical circuits, power generation, transmission, and distribution networks.

• Previous experience/ knowledge and proficiency in computer simulation and modeling software (PSCAD and Matlab/Simulink is required, ETAP, PSS/E desirable).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Aerospace experience.
• Previous experience performing electrical development tasks like system architecture design / analysis and circuit design / analysis to ensure compliance of all functional, performance, and environmental requirements.
• Understanding of aerospace standards & electrical aircraft systems is desirable"
• Background in, Aerospace Military Stds 461, 704 etc,, DO-160 stds UL compliance requirements are preferred

• Excellent organizational & communication skills are important as the role will require working on multiple projects simultaneously, mostly in a technical role and involve communicating across, upwards and downwards within the organization. The role will entail close working relationships with other functions within the Aerospace organization at various locations within the USA, Canada and UK, in addition to support functions in Pune, India.
