Accounting and Controls Senior Accountant
What you'll do:
The Accounting and Controls Senior Accountant will provide leadership of the Accounting function for allocated sites. Ensuring accuracy of US GAAP and local GAAP numbers, and that all compliance requirements are met. This role will have a strong focus on the standardization and optimization of financial processes across allocated sites, rolling out strategic initiatives and working closely with the Controllership (incl. Global Financial Accounting) and COEs
• Responsibility for closing, accounting, and reporting for allocated sites, ensuring each close is completed accurately and in line with operational reporting timetables
• Ensure control environment. Adherence to all Eaton Policies, US GAAP, SOX and local statutory/tax compliance requirements must be maintained
• Statutory reporting and administration where applicable.
• Partner with Operations to help execute business strategies, develop a detailed understanding of the operational activities and build business acumen
• Support all strategic projects within the region such as tax, restructuring, M&A activities, payroll, system implementations and other ad-hoc projects
• Drive optimization through standardization, simplification and automation of financial processes within the zone, working closely with Controllership, the COEs and Operations to build out and achieve the most efficient and effective organization

Qualifications:
Requirement:
- Degree in Accounting / Finance, Master's Degree (professional qualification) is preferred
- 7+ years of relevant work experience in Accounting, Finance
Skills:
- Experience of finance/accounting within a multinational manufacturing environment
- Exposure to Sarbanes Oxley and US GAAP desirable
- Fluent in business English; one or more local country language fluency desirable"
