About our Internship Program:
The Summer Internship Program is a unique and challenging 10-week experience for diverse, talented, high-performing individuals interested in different aspects of the financial and technology industry. Contingent upon business needs, performance and completion of degree, our internship serves as a pipeline to our full-time early-career program EDGE.

The impact you will have in this role:
The Third Party Risk (TPR) Intern supports the execution of DTCC's third party risk management framework by assisting in the review and documentation of third party risk assessments. This includes contributing to the development of tools and resources that enhance oversight across the third party lifecycle-from onboarding through termination. The intern also plays a key role in monitoring and reporting third party risk metrics, supporting data collection and analysis efforts, and facilitating periodic ongoing monitoring activities in alignment with TPR procedures and governance standards. This includes:
- Assisting with special projects including program enhancements, reporting, and senior management presentations
- Providing support to business users to understand third party monitoring and oversight requirements
- Learn about current industry events and emerging risks and share how they might affect third party risk management at DTCC
NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above.
Selection and Program Timeline: (timing may vary)
- August - October 2025: Applications open
- October - December 2025: Interview and Selection process
- January - May 2026: Early engagement and onboarding process
- June 2026: Start of program
Qualifications:
- Candidates must be working towards a bachelor's degree in the following curriculums: Business, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, MIS, Technology Management, or any other related field
- Candidates must have authorization to work permanently in the US without the need for sponsorship (now or in the future)
- Candidates must have minimum of a 3.2 GPA to be considered
Talents Needed for Success:
- Must demonstrate superior analytical and communication skills
- Strong interest in the financial services industry, with previous internship experience a plus
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Solid communication, negotiation, and relationship management skill
- Knowledge of Excel including pivot tables, charts, and dashboards
- Project management, presentation development, influencing, and public speaking skills
The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
