The Impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the IT Architecture and Enterprise Services (ITAES) Team means you will be part of diverse and collaborative group of technologists. DTCC ITAES is the specialist in architecting and developing enterprise shared services in support of clearing and post-trade life cycle events between 6,000 financial services firms in 52 countries. We enable clients to accelerate the clearing and settlement of trades, seamlessly connect and interoperate with their counterparties, and respond to changing market and regulatory conditions ensuring quality, efficiency, and perfection using innovative technologies. You would be part of an Agile squad and will collaborate with the Product Owner (PO) to understand the business needs and participate in planning, definition, and high-level technical design with the development team and also ensure that any best practices/approaches/standards are reused and crafting elegantly and robustly. .

Your Primary Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical expert on one or more applications/tools utilized by DTCC (Ataccama, Collibra, Snowflake)
• Partner with Infrastructure to identify and deploy optimal hosting environments (AWS, OCP, On-Prem)
• Tune application performance to eliminate and reduce issues
• Research and evaluate technical solutions consistent with DTCC technology standards (Java, Python, SQL)
• Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately
• Apply different software development methodologies dependent on project needs
• Contribute expertise to the design of components or individual programs, and participate in the construction and functional testing
• Support development teams, testing, troubleshooting, and production support
• Create applications and construct unit test cases that ensure compliance with functional and non-functional requirements
• Work with peers to mature ways of working, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
• Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

About the Team

IT Architecture and Enterprise Services are responsible for enabling digital transformation of DTCC. The group manages complexity of the technology landscape within DTCC and enhances agility, robustness and security of the technology footprint. It does so by serving as the focal point for all technology architectural activities in the organization as well as engineering a portfolio of foundational technology assets to enable our digital transformation.
