The Impact you will have in this role:

As a member of the Repository & Derivatives Services (RDS) Product Management organization, the Product Manager plays a critical role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives that drive modernization, efficiency, and growth across the RDS product line. This role focuses on leveraging enterprise data strategy and analytics platforms to build foundational capabilities, enhance client outcomes, and support DTCC's broader strategic objectives. You will work cross functionally to identify opportunities, solve complex problems, and drive initiatives that strengthen RDS in a rapidly evolving financial landscape.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives that advance RDS' data strategy and analytics enablement, including use of existing datasets and modern platform capabilities.
  • Work with the product management lead and business to deliver on the specific initiatives prioritized and budgeted for.
  • Collaborate with product management peers globally to ensure best practice and core principals are understood, adopted and implemented in regional initiatives.
  • Facilitates and leads external working groups and other relevant subject matter working groups including advisory councils.
  • Translate business needs into actionable strategies and execution plans, including process optimization and technology enablement.
  • Navigate a complex environment to drive initiatives forward within agile development frameworks, with minimal oversight and strong accountability.
  • Build and maintain relationships across internal teams and selected external partners/clients to support strategic outcomes and feedback loops.
  • Serve as a thought leader in data architecture, strategy, and AI, with a working knowledge of Snowflake, SQL, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives with Technology, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Operations to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Support cost optimization as a supporting responsibility (e.g., efficiency of platform usage, scalable operating patterns, reducing rework through standards).
  • Manage, develop and mentor junior product owners through hands-on guidance, structured feedback, and skill-building opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience


Talents Needed for Success:

  • Proven ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and data platforms (e.g. Snowflake) with working knowledge of SQL
  • Familiarity with data analytics and operational maturity concepts (e.g. controls, alerting, monitoring, production readiness)
  • Ability to navigate internal structures effectively to build support and drive initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, including mentoring and developing junior talent
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts in product contexts, including Snowflake Cortex and emerging agentic workflows (e.g., Kiro), with an emphasis on practical applicability and constraints
  • Experience with operational observability and visualization tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana) and production control patterns
  • Exposure to cloud-hosted data distribution mechanisms and APIs

Clearing & Securities Services group delivers world-class safety and soundness for the global financial services industry. The team provides DTCC's portfolio of core securities business, including Institutional Trade processing and First Line Resilience and Control to facilitate better end-to-end planning and prioritization as well as enable more coordinated and seamless delivery of capabilities and services for our clients.
