The Impact you will have in this role:

As an Associate Director, Digital Assets - Product Management, you will play a pivotal role at the intersection of clients, product strategy, and technology delivery as DTCC establishes and scales new digital asset businesses.

This role is intentionally client-facing and outward-looking. You will work directly with clients, market participants, and strategic partners as they explore and adopt new digital asset services. You will capture structured feedback, identify unmet needs, and translate real-world client requirements into clear, actionable product and technical requirements for DTCC engineering and platform teams.

Sitting between Director-level leadership and execution teams, the Associate Director is accountable for owning complex workstreams end-to-end-shaping strategy, engaging clients, defining requirements, and driving delivery-while maintaining DTCC's standards for risk, control, and regulatory discipline.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Client Engagement & Market Discovery
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients engaging with DTCC Digital Assets as new digital asset businesses and services are designed and launched.
  • Lead structured client discovery sessions, workshops, and working groups to understand operating models, regulatory constraints, and adoption barriers.
  • Build trusted relationships with client product, operations, technology, legal, and compliance stakeholders.
  • Represent client perspectives internally, ensuring market needs are accurately reflected in DTCC product decisions.

Feedback Capture & Requirements Translation

  • Capture, synthesize, and prioritize client feedback, pain points, and enhancement requests across pilots, proofs of concept, and early production services.
  • Translate client and market insights into clear business requirements and capability definitions suitable for product development and engineering teams.
  • Partner closely with product managers, architects, and engineers to ensure requirements are well-understood, feasible, and aligned to platform strategy.
  • Support backlog prioritization and roadmap decisions by grounding them in validated client demand and strategic value.

Product & Business Strategy Execution

  • Support the definition and execution of DTCC Digital Assets' product strategy across new and emerging digital asset offerings.
  • Help shape go-to-market approaches, client onboarding models, and service definitions for new digital asset businesses.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform product positioning and strategic investment decisions.
  • Contribute to business cases, value propositions, and executive-level materials supporting new initiatives.

Cross-Functional Delivery & Governance

  • Work across engineering, operations, legal, compliance, risk, and enterprise DTCC teams to drive coordinated delivery.
  • Ensure new products and client solutions are designed with appropriate controls, governance, and regulatory alignment from inception.
  • Support internal governance forums by clearly articulating client impact, risk considerations, and delivery trade-offs.

Leadership & Influence

  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of Digital Assets client and product operating models.
  • Represent DTCC Digital Assets in client meetings, industry forums, and internal leadership discussions as required.

NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:

  • 3+ years of experience across product strategy, product management, consulting, or market-facing roles within financial services, market infrastructure, or digital assets.
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with institutional clients to define requirements and deliver complex solutions.
  • Strong ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured, technology-ready requirements.
  • Familiarity with digital assets, tokenization, capital markets infrastructure, or adjacent fintech domains.
  • Proven ability to operate in regulated environments with sensitivity to risk, compliance, and control expectations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage senior internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Experience supporting the launch of new products or businesses in early-stage or scaling environments.
  • Exposure to agile delivery models, product roadmapping, and engineering collaboration.
  • Background in securities services, collateral management, post-trade infrastructure, or financial market utilities.
  • Experience working across US and UK or global stakeholder groups.

Why Join DTCC Digital Assets?

  • Play a foundational role in shaping new digital asset businesses at global scale.
  • Work directly with leading financial institutions as they adopt and operationalize digital assets.
  • Influence real product and platform decisions, not just strategy decks.
  • Operate in a mission-critical environment with strong governance, credibility, and regulatory trust.
