Enterprise Services comprises of multiple business platforms including Client Services, Global Business Operations, Business Architecture, Data Strategy and Analytics, and Digital Services, which reports into the Chief of Enterprise Services. These grouped platforms enable the business to optimize delivery for clients, generate efficiencies and resilience, and enable consistency in the business digitization strategy, processes and end-to-end best practices.

The Impact you will have in this role:

The Executive Director, Product Management for Equity Clearing & Settlement is a senior strategic leader responsible for defining and driving the multiyear product vision, market strategy, and competitive positioning for DTCC's equity post trade capabilities. In this role, you will shape the future of equity clearing and settlement by identifying emerging market opportunities, developing forward looking roadmaps, and leading cross functional teams to bring innovative and resilient post trade solutions to market. You will serve as a thought leader across the industry, partnering closely with market participants, regulators, and internal stakeholders to ensure DTCC remains the trusted backbone of the U.S. equity markets. This is a highly visible role within the Product organization, requiring exceptional strategic thinking, influence, and execution discipline.

The U.S. equity marketplace is undergoing significant modernization-from T+1 settlement to new clearing models, digital asset evolution, and increasing demands for transparency and efficiency. This role ensures DTCC stays at the forefront of that transformation by setting the strategic direction for the products that underpin the safety, soundness, and efficiency of the equity markets.

  • Shape the multi-year product strategy for equity clearing & settlement, ensuring alignment with industry modernization, market structure evolution, and regulatory change.
  • Drive innovation across the equity value chain, exploring new models, technology opportunities, client needs, and risk reduction mechanisms that enhance market safety and efficiency.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define, articulate, and continuously refine a multi-year vision and strategy for equity clearing, netting, settlement, and lifecycle processing.
  • Evaluate market structure trends, regulatory developments, competitive dynamics, and client sentiment to shape strategic direction.
  • Develop business cases, P&L models, pricing strategy, and long-term value frameworks for new capabilities and enhancements.


Market & Client Insights

  • Gathering insights from broker-dealers, clearing members, custodians, digital native firms, and other market participants to inform business strategy and product roadmaps.-native firms, and other market participants.
  • Facilitate engagement with clients to discover, validate product market fit.
  • Represent DTCC externally at conferences, industry associations, and regulatory forums to gather insights and influence industry direction.


Roadmap Ownership & Product Development

  • Maintain a clear, sequenced roadmap that spans concept development, MVP, pilot, and commercialization stages.
  • Translate strategy into actionable business and functional requirements for engineering, design, operations, and risk.

Strategy Execution & Product Development Partnership

  • Establish a clear, sequenced, supported roadmap that spans concept development, MVP, pilot, and commercialization stages for longer term strategic initiatives.
  • Create and communicate data driven business cases across the organization to build support and awareness.
  • Collaborate with internal divisional partners to translate strategy into actionable business and functional requirements for engineering, design, operations, and risk. Remain accountable for execution by partnering across the division for prioritization and rollout.


Industry Partnerships & Ecosystem Leadership

  • Build and sustain partnerships across market infrastructures, exchanges, CCPs, and technology firms.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Directly and indirectly, lead and grow a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, analytical rigor, and client centricity.

Qualifications

  • 12-15+ years of corporate strategy or product management experience with increasing scope and complexity, ideally within equity post trade, clearing, or market infrastructure domains-.
  • Preferred background in management consulting or investment banking for financial services.
  • Demonstrated success defining product strategy and delivering complex, multi-stakeholder technology products in financial markets.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. equity market structure, clearing/settlement mechanics, corporate actions, risk frameworks, and regulatory landscape.
  • Proven experience developing roadmaps, translating strategy into requirements, and guiding cross functional engineering and design teams.-
  • Executive presence and ability to influence horizontally and vertically across business, risk, technology, legal, and client organizations.
  • Strong analytical, communication, financial modeling, and strategic storytelling capabilities.


The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. Clearing & Securities Services group delivers world-class safety and soundness for the global financial services industry. The team provides DTCC's portfolio of core securities business, including Institutional Trade processing and First Line Resilience and Control to facilitate better end-to-end planning and prioritization as well as enable more coordinated and seamless delivery of capabilities and services for our clients.
