The Impact you will have in this role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Lead Business Analyst/Product Owner with 5-10 years of experience in the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) domain. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in Agile environments and has a solid understanding of GRC processes and platforms. You will serve as a critical bridge between business collaborators and technical teams, translating complex GRC requirements into actionable user stories that drive the evolution of our GRC platform

Your Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with collaborators, product owners, and SMEs to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
  • Translate requirements into clear, concise, and testable user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira.
  • Maintain and groom the product backlog, ensuring alignment with sprint goals and business priorities.
  • Leverage hands-on experience with GRC platforms such as RSA Archer, ProcessUnity, or similar tools to support configuration and enhancement efforts.
  • Understand and interpret GRC processes such as risk assessments, control testing, issue management, and audit workflows to inform solution design.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and developers to ensure technical solutions meet compliance and risk management needs.
  • Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, demos).
  • Provide ongoing clarification and support to developers and QA engineers throughout the sprint lifecycle.
  • Help identify and remove blockers that impede team progress.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline GRC processes and improve platform usability.
  • Define and validate acceptance criteria; support QA in test planning and execution.
  • Ensure deliverables meet business expectations and compliance standards.
  • Create and deliver regular reports and dashboards on sprint progress, backlog health, and GRC initiative status.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical collaborators, ensuring transparency and alignment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience


Talents Needed for Success:

  • 5+ years as a Product Owner/Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in the GRC or IT compliance domain.
  • Strong command of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban); experience working in Agile product teams.
  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and GRC platforms (e.g., Archer, ProcessUnity).
  • Solid understanding of GRC principles, including risk management, control frameworks (e.g., SOX, ISO 27001), and audit processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP), or equivalent.


The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations. IT Architecture and Enterprise Services are responsible for enabling digital transformation of DTCC. The group manages complexity of the technology landscape within DTCC and enhances agility, robustness and security of the technology footprint. It does so by serving as the focal point for all technology architectural activities in the organization as well as engineering a portfolio of foundational technology assets to enable our digital transformation.
