The impact you will have in this role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Associate in IT Change Management to facilitate the smooth implementation of changes within our IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that changes are effectively planned, evaluated, authorized, and implemented with minimal disruption to business operations.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, prioritize, and plan proposed changes to IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive change management processes and procedures in accordance with ITIL best practices.
- Conduct impact assessments to identify potential risks and dependencies associated with proposed changes.
- Facilitate change advisory board (CAB) meetings to review and approve change requests, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate communication and training efforts to ensure that stakeholders are informed about upcoming changes and prepared to adapt to new processes or technologies.
- Monitor and track the progress of change implementations, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations from the approved change plan.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of changes and see opportunities for improvement.
- Serve as a domain expert on change management processes, providing guidance and support to colleagues and customers as needed.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.
Talents Needed for Success:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT change management, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Good understanding of ITIL framework and principles
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication, teamwork, and stakeholder leadership skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and priorities multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools (ServiceNow preferred)
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL v4 Foundation, ITIL Managing Professional, or Change Management Practitioner are highly desirable.
