The Impact you will have in this role:

Being a member of the global finance team at DTCC, the Financial Reporting Accountant will provide key analytical and technical support to the financial reporting team, focusing on the preparation of DTCC consolidated financial statements and/or stand-alone subsidiary financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS. This role is designed for individuals with good analytical capabilities, who are looking to take on more responsibility in a growing and dynamic global environment. The Senior Analyst will work closely with senior members of the team to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.

Specific Responsibilities

Financial Reporting Support:

  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated and/or stand-alone financial statements under US GAAP and IFRS, ensuring that all data is accurate and consistent.
  • Help prepare financial schedules (e.g. disclosure support, cash flows etc.), and reconciliations (e.g. primary to secondary etc.), contributing to timely financial reporting.


Financial Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze monthly financial results and variances, providing actionable items to global accounting if required.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management.


Regulatory Compliance & Controls:

  • Prepare applicable government reporting (e.g. Census data, National Statistics, PEZA & Philippines SEC filings etc.),
  • Assist in maintaining internal controls over financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing relevant documentation and explanations for auditors


Process Optimization:

  • Identify and recommend improvements to financial reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline reporting workflows.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial reporting or accounting, with a basic understanding of US GAAP and IFRS


Talents Needed for Success:

  • Basic analytical and intermediate excel skills
  • Experience with financial reporting tools (e.g. Workiva, Power BI) and ERP systems (e.g. Oracle).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to collaborate across regions and functions.
