The Impact you will have in this role:
As a member of the Client Account Services team, you will play a critical role in supporting new client onboarding and managing the end-to-end client account lifecycle. You will serve as a key point of contact for prospective and existing clients, delivering timely, accurate, and professional guidance as they navigate onboarding, lifecycle events, risk, and regulatory requirements. This Associate role is with the National Securities Clearing Corporation (NSCC) Team supporting all NSCC products and services.
In addition to executing complex onboarding and lifecycle events, including validations, account maintenance, and structural changes such as mergers and retirements. You will also support the day-to-day operational workflow of the team as a workflow supervisor, responsible for monitoring team workloads, productivity, and ensuring timely completion of critical tasks while maintaining adherence to risk and control standards.
Your ability to balance operational execution with real-time oversight will help drive efficiency, mitigate risk, and ensure consistent, high-quality client experience. You will also contribute to process improvements and strategic initiatives that enhance the scalability and effectiveness of Client Account Services.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Support client inquiries, document management, and system-of-record updates for complex client lifecycle activities, including onboarding, account maintenance, and entity changes (e.g., mergers)
- Serve as a workflow supervisor for daily team operations by:
- Monitoring work queues and pipeline volumes across onboarding and lifecycle processes
- Prioritizing tasks based on urgency, risk, and client impact
- Ensuring timely progression of cases and adherence to service level expectations
- Identifying bottlenecks and reallocating work or escalating issues as needed
- Providing real-time guidance to analysts to ensure consistent, high-quality execution
- Act as a "go-to" resource for other team members, providing coaching, process guidance, and quality feedback to support development and performance
- Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., Relationship Management, Risk, Legal, Compliance) to ensure onboarding and lifecycle activities are executed seamlessly and meet all requirements
- Compile and analyze reporting from multiple data sources to support operational oversight, management reporting, and audit/regulatory requests
- Contribute to new product implementations and process enhancements impacting client onboarding and lifecycle activities
- Maintain strong attention to detail and proactively identify operational risks, ensuring appropriate escalation and mitigation
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners and clients to ensure effective collaboration and delivery of services
- Pay close attention to detail with a knack for identifying process and operational risks
- Represent the Client Account Services NSCC team in project, system enhancement, and modernization initiatives by providing subject matter expertise, articulating business requirements, validating impacts to onboarding and lifecycle processes, and ensuring operational readiness for new capabilities

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

- Goes above and beyond by investing his/her energy to realize team/department goals

- Strong technical skillset, including the mastery of DTCC's CRM tool (Salesforce), back-end systems, etc.
- Curious mindset and financial industry acumen (preferred)
