Clearance & Settlement Operations is responsible for the end-to-end processing of clearance and settlement activities across DTC, NSCC & FICC, ensuring the integrity and efficiency of U.S. financial markets. SCSO manages a wide range of functions-from real-time trade matching, netting, and settlement to exception handling, risk mitigation, physical processing and operational controls. The group also leads cross-functional initiatives such as project management, workflow enhancements, and operational risk review across business lines. Additionally, the team is responsible for the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Operational functionality within the C&S business lines at DTCC ensuring that defined quality standards are met. The UAT team should possess an in-depth knowledge of automated testing tools and quality control approaches including the ability to automate test scripts using an Industry standard Java Selenium framework.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

Associates in the C&S UAT team are responsible for:

• Developing an in-depth knowledge of the Business Operation, in order to support the testing for t the products being delivered.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders; holding yourself accountable for successful project execution and measurable high-quality, timely results
• Executing test scripts and reporting on execution milestones, and escalating issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines.
• Developing and modifying basic test automation scripts
• Loging defects and collaborating with development and Modernization teams for quick resolution
• Presenting complex or technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders

NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above.

Talents Needed for Success:

• 3-5 years of software testing experience
• 3 years of core java or Selenium Test NG automation experience
• API automation using Rest Assured
• Proficient in writing SQL queries
• Knowledge of Agile methodology and experience with agile management tools including, but not limited to ALM, JIRA & Selenium
• Exceptional focus and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Positive relationship and collaboration skills.
• Highly organized, proactive and productive work ethic

Nice to have skills:

• Backend automation using stubs, Mockito etc.
• Mainframe basics
• Data testing experience (ETL/Datawarehouse/Data migration testing)
• Domain experience in investment banking products and corporate actions
