About our Internship Program:
The Summer Internship Program is a unique and challenging experience for diverse, talented, high-performing individuals interested in different aspects of the financial and technology industry. Contingent upon business needs, performance and completion of degree, our internship serves as a pipeline to our full-time early-career program EDGE. This is a paid internship that will run from June to July 2026.

- Interns will render approximately 320 hours over the course of the 8-week program, working 8 hours per day, 5 days a week
The impact you will have in this role:
The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) Manila site is recruiting current college students to fill our summer intern positions across many different business areas of our company. These positions welcome students who are interested in gaining meaningful experience within the financial services industry while expanding their knowledge and involvement in the clearing and settlement business. Our Summer Interns have the opportunity to make contributions within their business areas while simultaneously learning from experts currently working within the field.
The Tax intern will support the Global Tax team and assist with preparing international tax calculations, tax returns and associated tax workpapers to support filings. This includes developing a working knowledge of different accounting software (Oracle ERP and Vertex) to prepare corporation income and indirect tax returns and assisting with sales & use tax filings and researching sales taxability analysis on DTCC products and services. The intern will work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other departments within the Chief Financial Office Organization on various projects including tax compliance, tax provision, tax audits and other special projects as needed.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the Global (Manila & U.S. based) Tax team and assist with preparing federal, state and international tax calculations, tax returns and associated tax workpapers to support tax filings (including income taxes/indirect taxes e.g., VAT/GST, Sales/Use tax
- Execute on ad hoc tasks and departmental projects.
- Drive continuous improvements initiated to enhance operational performance
- Work on assigned, special projects with an emphasis on time management and optimal results
- Communicate with confidence, ensuring information presented is accurate
- Participate in team meetings

Qualifications:
- Candidates must be working towards a bachelor's degree in Accountancy/Accounting
- Candidates must be a student in their junior year or incoming final year of university (graduating by Spring or Summer 2027)
- Open to candidates applying for either voluntary or required internships as part of their academic program
- Candidates must have good academic standing
- Candidates must possess strong attention to details with strong mindset to completing tasks and assignments.
- Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Must be willing to work onsite at least 3 days a week (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
- Able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and classified information.
- Display a strong work ethic
Talents Needed for Success:
- Work or internship experience in a professional setting preferred
- Experience working in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Good written & oral communication skills
- Motivated self-starter
- Ability to grasp new concepts
- Proficient computer and technical skills (Particularly with Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Strong interest in the financial services industry, with previous internship experience a strong plus
