About the Role

We are hiring a Ground Logistics and Protection Agent to serve as the dedicated executive protection agent for an executive, providing daily close protection, secure transportation, and logistical coordination. This role is part of the Protective Services team and ensures the safety, security, and seamless daily movements of the executive through professional, discreet, and reliable service.

  • Daily Executive Protection: Serve as the primary executive protection agent, providing close protection and ensuring the safety and security of the executive during daily movements and engagements.
  • Secure Transportation: Deliver safe, efficient, and discreet ground transportation, maintaining awareness of routes, traffic, and environmental conditions.
  • Vehicle and Equipment Management: Oversee vehicle maintenance, fueling, cleanliness, and presentation to ensure reliability and operational excellence. Manage onboard equipment, communications tools, supplies and documentation
  • Operational Coordination: Assist with planning and coordination of logistics for company movements, events, and special projects. Collaborate with executive assistants, security partners, and support staff to align timing, itineraries, and destinations.
  • Professional Conduct: Maintain the highest standards of discretion, judgment, and service while representing the Protective Services team in all interactions.

  • Provide Daily Protection: Serve as the on-site protective agent responsible for the executive's safety, support, and logistical continuity.
  • Operate Locally: Work on-site in the Bay Area, supporting the executive's daily schedule and adapting to evolving priorities and time-sensitive demands.
  • Ensure Secure Transportation: Conduct ground movements with precision, situational awareness, and confidentiality to maintain operational control and safety.
  • Maintain Vehicle Readiness: Manage all aspects of vehicle upkeep and presentation to guarantee reliability and a professional standard.
  • Coordinate Across Teams: Partner with executive assistants, security personnel, and operational teams to align movements, timing, and logistics.
  • Demonstrate Professionalism: Uphold a calm, composed, and service-oriented demeanor while working in close proximity to the executive.
  • Plan and Anticipate: Conduct route familiarization, assess conditions, and prepare contingencies to ensure smooth and safe execution.
  • Support Company Movements: Assist with travel, events, and other company functions requiring executive attendance, ensuring seamless transitions between locations.
  • Represent with Excellence: Model the professionalism, reliability, and discretion expected of the Protective Services team.

  • Experience: 5+ years in executive protection, secure transportation, or corporate security roles supporting senior business leaders.
  • Corporate Acumen: Experience operating in a corporate environment with an understanding of business etiquette, confidentiality, and executive-level interaction.
  • Professional Presentation: Maintain a clean, polished appearance and composed demeanor suitable for a high-visibility executive environment.
  • Protective Skillset: Proven ability to perform executive protection duties, including close protection, situational awareness, and route management.
  • Operational Judgment: Demonstrated ability to make sound, time-sensitive decisions in changing environments or under pressure.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: History of collaborating effectively with executive assistants, security teams, and operational partners to execute complex schedules.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient with navigation, communications, and tracking tools used in protective operations and executive transport.
  • Integrity and Discretion: Trusted to manage sensitive information and personal interactions with the utmost professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Credentials: Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record; advanced driving, protective operations, or defensive tactics training preferred.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to support extended hours, irregular schedules, and short-notice assignments as required by executive needs.
  • Local Presence: This position is based in the Bay Area and requires daily on-site presence.
  • Schedule Commitment: Ability to support extended hours, weekends, and after-hours movements based on executive requirements.
  • Operational Support: Occasional regional or domestic travel in support of executive movements or company events.

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

  • For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).

The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.

$91,800-$135,000 USD
