About the role:
Lead the end-to-end commercial strategy, execution, and business performance for Sam's Club Mexico, being responsible for the full P&L, JBP, forecast, portfolio strategy, investment management, and in-store execution.
This role is responsible for accelerating Premiumization, optimizing inventory health, protecting margin, and building a long-term strategic partnership with the clients.
Role Responsibilities:
Functional Responsibilities
• Develop and implement long-term strategic plans to establish and nurture strong, mutually beneficial relationships with Wholesale and/or Modern Trade customers, positioning Diageo as the preferred supplier and trusted strategic partner.
• Own end-to-end client accountability, maximizing the Diageo Way of World Class Selling and ensuring seamless service and alignment with customer objectives.
• Analyze market trends and generate actionable insights to optimize Marketing and Commercial strategies for Wholesale customers.

• Lead the development, implementation, and performance tracking of Joint Business Plans (JBPs), while identifying new growth opportunities to expand category presence and increase market penetration in TBA.
• Provide best-in-class account management by overseeing budget adherence, ensuring alignment with trade strategy, maintaining compliance with CARM, optimizing stock levels and product assortment, ensuring efficient distribution, facilitating timely cash collection, and supporting execution in both POS and eCommerce channels.
• Handle the in-month sales forecasting process (S&OE), with weekly Sell In and Sell Out updates.
Leadership Responsibilities
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate teams across Finance, Supply, Marketing, and Customer Marketing to develop and implement Joint Business Plans (JBPs), identifying key growth opportunities to drive market penetration.
• Strategic Partnerships: Build strong and balanced customer relationships, positioning Diageo as the supplier of choice through a detailed and customer-focused approach.
• Company Policies & Routines: Ensure full compliance with Diageo's commercial routines, capability programs, certifications, trainings, and company policies.
Experience Required & Qualifications
• 2 years of experience in account management
• Communication skills, ability to negotiate internally and externally
• Analytical, planning with a clear purpose, and negotiation skills
• Experience in P&L management
• Proficient in business communication and presentation skills (e.g., one-pagers).
• Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience in business or correlated areas
