Purpose of the Role:

This role is to drive, shape and deliver the Tequila CS&L strategy, standards and continuous improvement agenda of the Tequila Logistics Operation covering 10 sites (1 Diageo WH +9 3PL). This role will be ensuring adherence to global CS&L standards and drive operational efficiencies. The outcomes of this role are measured in: Cost Efficiency, Service, Global Logistics process compliance and Collaborative and value creating relationships with partners. The role will be essential to ensuring demonstrable year on year improvements of these metrics.

Key Accountabilities:

Deliver demonstrable year-on-year improvement in CSL Tequila performance metrics, including cost, service, and efficiency.

Drive the productivity agenda across Tequila CSL by identifying cost-saving opportunities, improving asset utilization, optimizing labor efficiency, and embedding a culture of continuous performance improvement.

Lead customer collaboration initiatives by strengthening partnerships with key customers, distributors markets , improving demand visibility, enhancing joint planning processes, and driving service level improvements through aligned supply chain strategies.

Build and develop organizational capabilities by investing in people development, fostering a high-performance culture, and enhancing technical and leadership skills across the logistics function to future-proof the organization.

Ensure Logistics Tequila operations are fully compliant with the latest CARM and OPEX standards, embedding consistency and operational excellence across all sites.

Lead continuous improvement logistics programs across Tequila Logistics and functional verticals by leveraging external benchmarks, internal best-in-class practices, and a forward-looking vision of the capabilities required to achieve industry leadership.

Provide strategic guidance on SAP, data excellence, and governance, ensuring high data integrity and visibility

Entry Level Requirements - Capabilities, Skills & Experience:

  • undefined
  • Minimum 10 years' supply chain experience with significant experience in process improvement in CPG companies involving multiple sites
  • Minimum 4 years' experience working in logistics incl. WH and Transport in LAC with preferably international exposure
  • Ability to engage and align senior management partners behind plans and win support for implementing changes internally and externally
  • Degree or equivalent experience in operations or a supply chain related subject
  • Highly analytical and ability to present information in a way enabling senior partners to make supply chain decisions
  • Ability to lead in environments where influence is more important than formal authority
  • knowledge of end to end supply chain
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written combined with the ability to engage optimally at all levels in the organisation (English and Spanish)
  • An understanding of how leading technology can enable effective logistics operations
  • Experience in delivering operational savings in a sophisticated environment, involvement in continuous improvement programs and cost engineering
  • Experience of network modelling
  • Ability to apply performance indicators to improve management at all levels .
