Technical Architect & Lead Developer - AI & Azure Web CoE

Market/ Role Complexity

Interact with partner in GBO & D&T across respective experience towers, markets, functions & geographies to identify improvement needs and conceptualize applicable process automations, create solution roadmaps, keystroke documents, develop or co-develop related functional documentation, create sprint-wise launch plan, create technical design document, deploy strategic solutions in an agile manner through methodologies.

Work with technical and functional leaders across various resolver groups to own and implement deterministic automation, stochastic automation visual analytics solutions, predictive analytical solutions across GBO in Diageo servers.

Role Responsibilities:

Direct a team of 5 or more developers in multiple shifts, as per plan.

Partner with the relevant Business, Technology & Strategic Process owners, supporting their continuous improvement efforts.

Purpose of Role

• Own and be accountable for smooth and effective delivery of strategic and tactical process transformation related automation solutions as per agreed plan.

• Ensure the right time delivery of planned automation solutions.

• Ensure the right resources and capabilities are in place, with expected processes and compliance requirements are adhered to.

• Recruit, develop and retain a high performing and engaged team to deliver 100% compliance and great customer experience.

• Ability to deliver as Individual contributor by independently architecting and implementing few new enterprises level applications involving multiple systems, sub-systems, and workflow applications

• Own the technical design and architecture of the new software while integrating with legacy system interfaces.

• Assist in build Process Automation Centre of Excellence (COE) as alternative to Ui Path to drive low-cost automation, but not limited to TCO / ROI analysis,

• Be accountable for technical delivery of the new tools and interfaces and overall aspects of software design with hardware, software stack, APIs, security, integration with legacy tools.

• Grow and identify process automation opportunities within assigned verticals and independently implement couple of large-scale transformation projects.

• Create or review and improvise the technical architecture documentation for green field or brown field projects, starting with application design, development, deployment and change implementation.

• Hands-on functional testing, security testing, integration testing, performance testing.

• Hands-on with software security vulnerability test creation and test execution.

• Hands On with AI & ML algorithms will be mandatory

• Hands-on with customer interaction and software development lifecycle, using Agile, Waterfall and other tried project management methodology.

• Implement standard methodologies across RPA program/Project management/Traditional AIML/ Analytics/ Azure Solution Architecture Design / Azure Web App Deployment and maintenance.

• Be accountable for impeccable coding standards and ensure reusable components.

• Be accountable for compliance to all policies and procedures defined for existing solutions and applicable to new solutions, while designing fresh ones.

• Deployment and maintenance of vital technical environments & documentation for communicating with key partners.

• Build automation solutions autonomously with little guidance and help from resolver groups.

• Optimally communicates with on project plans action requirements to team members and partners, provide updates on project status and achievements.

Experience / skills required:

• Minimum 8-10 years of autonomous software and technology solution design development with up to 7-8 years of Core Python and Azure based product development lead, architecture & solutioning design and development experience; along with 4 to 5 years of People Management experience in a multinational organization within service delivery environment or as software expert having superior technical expertise. Experience can be reduced for exceptional candidates.

• "Bachelor's Degree" or "Master's Degree" in science or equivalent - with 75% plus at secondary, higher secondary level with First Class in Graduation

• Technical Architect, Hands On Developer and Product owner guiding a team of 15 to 20 developers across the below stack.

• Experience in building up a new automation solution with below stack is required.

1. Language -

a. Python 3.12 or above in Anaconda 5.3 Environment

b. Angular, React JS, Node JS,

c. Ajax, jQuery, JavaScript, JavaScript ES3, Typescript

d. Flask & Flask REST, Flask-JWT, JWT

e. Microservice-based architecture (REST/SOAP), Bootstrap

f. Knowledge of Postman

2. Database - Fluency in any three

a. MongoDB, with Mongo DB Atlas, PostgreSQL with pgAdmin,

b. MySQL with Workbench, Dynamo DB with AWS console

3. AI ML Libraries-

a. Tensor Flow, Scikit Learn, Matplotlib, NumPy, Pandas,

b. PyTorch , Keras, Apache Spark, Open CV, PySpark

4. AI Scalability:

a. Deep Learning concepts

b. Azure Open AI API usage for custom apps

c. Model Finetuning

d. End to-end design, develop and deployment of Python solution in Azure

e. Azure AI Agents using Python SDKs is a critical need.

5. Sever Technologies -

a. Azure Logic App, Azure Web Apps, Azure Function App, Azure Storage

6. Cloud Architecture -

a. Clear understanding of Azure Architecture

b. Clear understanding of Azure Dev Ops for Project Deployment

7. Dev Ops for continuous integration and continuous delivery

a. Azure Dev Ops, Docker, Jenkins

b. Git Bash

8. Networking -

a. Elastic Networking with SSH, TCP/IP, FTP/SFTP, HTTP/ HTTPS, Sockets engineering

9. Power Platform -

a. Power App, Power Automate/ Power Flows

10. Security Scanning -

a. AB Testing, SonarQube.

11. Graphical User Interface Design -

a. Figma, Adobe Design, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects.

12. Project Management Tools: JIRA or Confluence

13. APIs Integration & Testing: Postman, Robot3T

• Ability to understand the present landscape and look into the future needs of the process, identify process automation solutions with costs and controls - deliver continuous improvement initiatives and lead change control.

• Experience of having successfully engaged, motivated, and influenced a variety of partners in multiple geographies and cultures.

• Consistent track record of deploying high performance technology solution with high engagement levels across teams partners.

• Ability to find solutions, solve barriers and positively galvanise others around you in a context of ambiguity and fast-moving change.

• Fluent English is a must - articulate with excellent communication skills.
